just wanted to let you guys know that i might need a day longer for the next Ghost Lights update. I'll try to update on Thursday instead of tomorrow!
I'm going through it (my mom's health is my biggest concern right now and we have to wait until Thursday for a more accurate diagnosis and until then, I will be on edge) and haven't really been able to focus much and I've also unfortunately completely run out of my precious buffer 🐌 sad snail noises
also by now you have probably heard of the news that Tapas might be shutting down by either end of the year or end of October and I have been trying very hard to get my own website running! It's getting somewhere but has been quite exhausting on such short notice, but at least once it's done you'll be able to read it on there and Ghost Lights will have a permanent (hopefully safer) home!! It'll have its own theme and I will do the same with my werewolf comic 💚
I'm also going to mirror the comic on a few other platforms, do you have any preferences or suggestions? So far I have chosen: webtoon, lemoon, namicomi, pinya and comicfury
I haven't started to put Ghost Lights on there, but will do so in the coming days! Gonna be so much work auughhh
I will make a proper post about it all. For now it's very scary and I'm heartbroken. We (creators) are feeling uncertain about the future and if our comics will ever will find community / readership elsewhere. In my case i have worked for 10 years to build up something on tapas and then it will be gone, just like that

Making your own site is a great idea—will allow you to have your own creative space, free from the confines of other sites ( if folks subscribe 😁 ) Also, your aesthetic is quite distinctive, so I imagine that it will be both pleasant to the eye and easy to recognize

Take a break! Prioritize your family. We readers are patrons wishing to see what creations your beautiful imagination comes up with, we aren't employers here to see you run yourself into the ground to provide content on a schedule. Breathe and rest and care for loved ones, then do only one task at a time. I imagine all the other creators of Tapas are working on the same problem, and if there's collaboration I wouldn't be surprised if tips n' tricks or new sites are coming up.

The art and mystery of Ghost Lights is very intriguing and lovely, it will get more fans and we will support you wherever you go. 💜 Hope that the doctors will wisely diagnose and kindly take care of your mom, and that she will be alright. 😣🙏🏻
