style test for Benjamin and Lucas!! I'm going for a very sketchy and simpler approach and maybe a more limited color palette!

I have been making big progress with the new story! The outline is basically done, and the script of the first scenes are fully written and ready to be drawn~

Luckily the boys understood the assignment SO WELL and are now bombarding me with scenes and dialogues left and right, I'm so glad whenever this happens!! I have now fondly started to call them "the rescue squad" because maybe they're going to help us rescue Ghost Lights in the long run too 🌻

To explain my decision of making another comic a bit more:

My plan is to work on a bigger buffer for the new story before I post it. Patreon will get a big chunk to read ahead and then I will start to post one page per week on wt and tapas.

Because it will be more slice of life, I don't mind the updates being one page per week! I actually think it would work quite well and I'm excited to see how this will feel!

Unfortunately Ghost Lights would fall apart with a one-page-per-week approach and I'm pretty sure it would ruin the entire tension of the story, so I don't think I could ever bring myself to do that. Unless absolutely necessary.... but that's why I'm going to try it with an entirely new story first!!

Basically I will try to appease the algorithm a little bit at least. Here, I humbly offer my monsterfucker sons- no wait, my bad! My wholesome sons who are incredibly innocent and have never had a horny thought in their lives 👁

also just want to say that right now: I will appease the algorithm with a weekly update schedule, but never with dumbing down a plot or my characters! I never want to write something for the masses, I just want my people to be able to find me and my OCs!

So maybe it will help with finding new readers and people who would like to support and maybe those readers will come to like Ghost Lights too!! And of course I hope that you will like them 💕
Plus, Noah and Robin will have some appearances too. Benjamin and Lucas are Noah's super close friends after all, and Noah has heard all about their pining towards each other! And one of Robin's best friends is Marija (who is Lucas' older cousin), so it all is interconnected with each other~

and I'm just happy I get to expand their universe a little and finally get to include all the darlings I had to kill in the past! The friends had some more scenes in the first version of Ghost Lights before my rewriting, but I had to cut some for pacing.

Also I have a fluttering excitement in my chest, I kind of feel like I did when I was 14 and just started drawing, dreaming big, looking at my wonky scribbles and nothing else mattered except that my characters were interacting with each other and I could bring them into the world!! I'm really excited about it and I'm also so much more hopeful for Ghost Lights' future, thanks to all your words of encouragements and this little plan I have in the works now. I'm so grateful to all of you and I want to impress you with my new babies!!

I have to refine what I really want for page layout still and will do a few more style tests, and of course the most important thing of it all:

oh and the next scene of Ghost Lights is basically finished! Really happy that I'm so good in time this month 🌸 I haven't decided when to post it yet, but soon! And next public update will be the 14th May.
