I have a love/hate relationship with how your edging us with their (potential?) reveal of their spirit forms. We, as the audience, know that they have spirit forms and that at one point or another in the story they will learn about their spirit forms and all their history and whatnot,,,,,,, but they don't know that yet! And you keep teasing us that this place is magical and has some connection to their old spirit selves (see also: last episode and the episode where they get lost in the forest for the first time and in the AUTHORS COMMENT you say "careful what you wish for!" Implying their arriving in their spirit form home not their human home which they were thinking of. On the one hand, great writing and great job at keeping up the tension! On the other hand,,,,, PLS REALIZE YOUR NOT JUST HUMAN DAMMIT Oh and uh,, THEYRE KISSING! ITS HAPPENING!
