If Worlds Collide: what's new (October)
Hey everyone!
It's been a busy month on the site. Here's the short version of what's gone live since our last update.
What we promised last time
You can now link your Patreon and Discord to your IWC account. Supporters get a badge and a spot on the new Supporters page, and you keep the badge if your Patreon lapses. Author profiles are here too, with avatars, display names and badges that level up as you build.
Saved abilities
Write an ability once and reuse it across your units, so you're not retyping the same rule ten times.
Rosters you can keep and share
Rosters now save to your account. Share one with a link, give it its own picture, and get an Update roster button when its faction changes. Faction authors can also recommend rosters on their faction page.
Virtual tabletop beta (paid supporters)
The Cyberwolves of Tettiroth are now playable, Final Howl included. A lot of their abilities still need adjusting, so tell us what feels off. Every Crimson Castellan and Order of the Broken Mirror unit ability works on the table, and there are three new battlefields to play on: Cataract Falls, Twenty Mile Gorge and the Trainyard.
User Content Agreement
When you create or save a faction, you'll be asked to agree to our new terms for content you post (ifworldscollide.com/terms). They also promise the faction builder stays free. If you decline, your public factions go private and editing pauses until you agree. Nothing is deleted.
Also new
Sign in with Google, battle reports that record the whole match, a feedback button on every page, and a lot of smaller fixes to the faction editor.
Thanks for playing, building and reporting bugs. Keep them coming in #report-bug on our Discord.
Cheers,
Knarb
