💡 What Would You Invent in a Fantasy World?
Imagine bringing your knowledge into a fantasy world.
What invention could really change things?
Guns? They already have magic. 💥
Flight? They have magic for that, too. ✨
So… What could you introduce that would make people stop and say, “WOW?” 🤔
Our brilliant engineer, Ren, already has something in mind—and he’s been busy putting it on paper. 👀
Can you guess what he’s working on?
We’ll reveal his latest Spelltech invention in our next post.
Stay tuned!
Meanwhile, what would YOU invent first?
(Besides sushi, of course. 🍣😂)

100% transportation is key! airship, train and car are right on the money. Magic based societies will not be stressed about guns and such since one archmage can meteor shower or fire wave an entire battlefield. So who needs guns or catapults this is why those tech lines would be slower or not develop at all. But transportation will be a key for that type of society. Excellent catch. Yes I had to go so deep into that rabbit hole when I developed this concept haha. 🤣
If the modern airplane is too complex, an airship is a possibility... Expect an explosion...
yeah i mean both a car and airship dosent hafto be complex a baloon some gas or fire and a big basket works irl with magic it would be alot easier
armor infused with magic to augment anything really weapons too
digging ususally is something that is needed because you cant mine with magic
i know i am problably starting to write alittle to much now but i just also thought if its just a cd kind of magic system like your magic just uses a cooldown exept for basic magics like making a fire in your hand everything ells has cooldown then everything is up for grabs because you dont want to waste cd on something you might need later
if everyone can use high lvl magic then it would problably be chaos but if only a small amount of people can then a canon could be usefull you could ignite it with fire magic maby magic for lighting using magic light everytime its dark would be a pain so having torches that can keep lighting for a longer period then that would be useful
it all depends on what they already have or what magic system is there if they use mana then guns might still be useful because then you dont hafto use mana for fights that arent big and do everyone have magic or just some and if everyone has magic what kind is it only that they are born with one school and its hard to learn or cant learn anotherlike for example if you can infuse crystals with magic you could use it as a powersource if you can counjure food a microwave would be useless but most of the time you cant and then it would be usefull
Well, if you need one archmage, to drop a meteor shower or a fire storm or simply disintegrate an enemy army or castle, so there’s no rush on cannons or guns. Battle strategy would be: protect the mage until he finishes his nuke magic and we’re done. Less veteran magicians can focus on barrier magic to protect the town and the archmage, and scouts and archers can keep info coming about enemy locations, but not fight any major battles. Strategy changes when you have high level magic like meteor shower, blizzard, or thors lightning or any massive AOE or single target magic. Now think what if we also have an engineer that can analyze and create some unique combinations. That’s Spelltech! So think instead of fire -> plasma, Instead of meteor (rocks) -> sword shower, or lead shower, or water lance shower, these will make mince meat out of 100k soldiers almost instantly, and only require one archmage with an open mind. This is why I wanted to tell this story 💪🤠
The car, the smartphone, the metro...The plane!
Smartphone and planes are a bit too far technology wise, need microchips, computers then miniaturization, gps and digital maps then it’s possible. The rest are jackpot woo! 🎉
Damn
Antibiotics
you know that herbal medicin has been there for waaay before medieval times. BUT its a fantasy world - they have healing magic :D and healing potions.
