Game Jam 2026!

Hiya! I hope your week's been off to a good start.

I haven't done a game jam in a while... I was sad from the judging scheme of Fifty Shades of Orange since it didn't even get top 10 (EVEN THOUGH IT WAS AWESOME) so I kinda stayed away from them to cool off. BTW, if you haven't played 50shades, you really should. It's an experience and I'm still really proud of how absurdly degenerate that story is.

When I heard this was coming up: https://itch.io/jam/heavy-weight-jam at about the same time I had the itch to do a jam, I of course had to try to do something just for fun. I'm not in this to win it this time, it's just super casual for me, so the game may be incomplete or still poor quality by the time the deadline is due, but it still excites me to try to do everything I can to get some sort of game done in two weeks!

With that in mind, I dove in and pulled more than an all-nighter to write literally an entire standalone story from scratch about Hannah and Sam. Hannah has big dreams of being so big she doesn't have to work anymore, and Sam's going to help her get there. The story's one of absurdity, romance, enthusiastic weight gain, and of taking control, getting out of the never-ending cycle of someone stuck in the daily grind.

I'm posting updates up on Discord for you Patrons documenting my progress as I go, so take a look here for some sneak peaks and status updates: https://discord.gg/vM7JpUEwek, just make sure to link your Patreon to Discord if you haven't already.

The image is Hannah size 1, right when she's really started her weight gain journey. She gets huge in the story, so I hope you're looking forward to seeing a lot more of Hannah as I build the game out over the next week.
