Keep in mind that while the only folks who can see these are the members of this Patreon, they are open to all members, because I don't have subscription tiers. That is to say, anyone can view whatever is said in there by temporarily becoming a member.

I only dismember and reanimate the corpses of the poor mods what have been abandoned by their owners - someone has to care for the discarded things!

I am not that obnoxious to not understand that not everyone wants to be on Discord - whether or not they know that the platform was created by and run by (until recently) an entity/individual that was sued for farming and selling the personal sensitive data of the users of their previous app without said users' knowledge, and this is besides the issue of the rampant child exploitation servers on Discord that were identified by an NBC News investigation in 2023.
Do you suppose they've gotten any better now in 2025?
Do you suppose they have any reason to under the current administration?
Do you suppose anyone in authority is holding them accountable anymore or "forcing them" to do the bare minimum to protect - or just not exploit - their users?
It's important that you know the services you're using.
Yes, I don't actually like Discord. Even before I knew everything I know about the people behind it. I dislike the user interface (UI) that much. I use it because others use it.
