🦄 Patreon rolled out the "on the fly" post type options that I mentioned recently! -- 💀 It hasn't been a good (5) hours and this !@#$ is already bugging out! SMH.
I no longer need to create IMAGE posts and attach a placeholder til I take screenshots for me to be able to attach screenshots or GIFs after posting the post.
No more flooding you with that purple artwork with the cute Plumbobs! I intended to switch to my blank "cover placeholder image" anyway, but with the new options, I can now add or change the "post type" any time I want and on older posts too, e.g. I can now add an image to my first post if I wanted to or update my very old tutorials and troubleshooting posts with visual-aid screenshots! No need to remake the posts!
This makes posting so much less frustrating!
I swear, if they give us this for a month and then strip it away, I will be pissed.
They've done it before.
For a whole month, we had new additional text formatting options, then they took them away. I thought it was a fever dream til another creator in the Patreon Discord brought it up while we were complaining (to no avail) about recent text formatting changes.
