🔄 Update 2/25/2025 💀 Bodies are fixed but Deformer Maps remain broken + some CAS categories are broken + "Update 10/22/2024" is still broken! -- S4S is updated!

It took them TEN (10) !@#$ING YEARS TO RESURRECT THE BURGLAR?!

Same old engine, same old game, same old scripts. Just saying.

⋆⋅ MY PERSONAL REPORT:

DEFORMER MAPS AND OUR BODIES - Our bodies have been fixed, but the EIGHTEEN (18) Deformer Maps are still broken. This means that instead of FIXING THE !@#$ING DEFORMER MAPS, THESE M- <INHALES SHARPLY> they instead chose to "unlink" the bodies from the Deformer Maps, which means there's a bit of code somewhere I don't know about. Imagine that. When I say the Deformer Maps are still broken, I mean that they have not been altered in any way since they were broken in Update 7/23/2024.

CAS CATEGORIES - Clicking on parent categories is supposed to show you a list of all items contained in the sub-categories. THREE (3) categories no longer function like that, these are Body » Accessories, Head » Accessories, and Head » Makeup. Furthermore, "Contains New Items!" is broken on the affected sub-categories inside the aforementioned categories. If a sub-category "Contains New Items!", then the parent category is supposed to also display "Contains New Items!". How did they break this while mucking around Tattoos?

ANIMATION STATE MACHINES - The "CAS" ASM has been heavily modified. Those "stand in CAS" mods floating around the internet might need an update. Aside from that, (7) other ASMs were modified - none of which are used by AnimXGenWear - and we've got (11) new ASMs, some for the burglar and some for lectures with whiteboards.

SCALE FORM GFX - We've got (7) new SGFX resources and ALL others have been modified, including the SGFX for fonts!

TUNING - A whole lotta changes, but once again, a lot of it seems to be "comments". This is EAxis, right? It's not S4S? I'm just asking 'cause S4S has a "fix" for this comment crap that don't work properly.

TUNING COMMENTS - This shit needs to stop. If this is EAxis and it's not S4S, then a good chunk of this patch data is a waste of bandwidth. Entire Tuning resources have had their correct comments replaced with incorrect comments.

⋆⋅ DEADLIGHTS FROM THE UPDATE NOTES:

[EA Forums] Male Sims with a feminine frame can now wear certain tops without any spine distortion.

Does EAxis not understand what the issue was or are they just pretending to be daft while continuing to mislead the public about what was broken?

[EA Forums] Privacy restored! The mysterious disappearing bathroom walls at the Willow Creek Gym have been found. Your Sims can now work out and wash up without any peek-a-boo surprises!

EAxis fixed this ages ago. When and how did they manage to break it again? Was it when they remodeled pre-made sim houses? Did they somehow manage to resurrected old lots with old buggy walls?

No more fashion faux pas! Nina Caliente's body and clothes textures appear flawlessly across all graphics settings again.

I don't even want to know.

[EA Forums] Body sliders in Create a Sim are back on track! Adjusting the belly, butt, and thighs of male Sims will no longer transform certain full-body outfits into avant-garde fashion.

... Another thing that's been fixed and broken multiple times.

[EA Forums] Sims' ears now wear Gauges without those pesky jagged edges.

I'm curious to see what's been done here since I had it queued to fix. Gauges were too chunky and horribly designed.
