☢️ Why do, when have? - A "short" rant because... pfft! I'm always down to protest!
THIS IS A RANT. YOU'RE WELCOME TO IGNORE IT. I DO THESE THINGS FOR PERPETUITY.
<inhales sharply>
I'm actually fine with the idea of these full-screen popup ads when launching the game. It's a good way to communicate important information with your player-base, if EAxis actually cared to communicate IMPORTANT INFORMATION with their player-base.
Why do we still need a "PROMO BUTTON" bloating our UI?
Why do they need that extra telemetry strain on their already lackluster servers if they can just shove this !@#$ in our faces?
I haven't paid attention to sales before and I'm usually in Offline Mode in App and game so I don't usually see these things, but I have noticed that all year round it's just been sale after sale after sale, while they shoved the "PROMO BUTTON" Feedback into "Feedback" and censored a bunch of us for complaining about their callous, predatory behavior.
But complaining wasn't the problem, no! EAxis is fine with "feedback", yes!
EAxis believes games are for everyone but we, part of the "everyone", shouldn't care enough about the neurodivergent part of the "everyone" members of our sims community - who cannot enjoy this game without EAxis preying on them with predatory marketing or ignoring their health concerns with incessant UI effects plastered everywhere - to publicly call for a boycott or thank each other for boycotting. That's where EAxis draws the line!
Don't you dare try to force us to not be anti-consumer !@#$s. We are an estimated 43.57 BILLION DOLLAR company and we will do whatever the !@#$ we want.
43.57?! It was in the 30s a couple months ago! This website I get these figures from can't be right. SMH!
Who knows, maybe we're in for brighter days. They did surprise me with EP17 CAS. 🐱 <squints and remembers our broken bodies> 😹😸😾👹

Preach! 🙌🏻 It makes me wonder how long before the player base truly flips out over the tricksy things EA keeps pulling. They set up that focused bug fixing team (so they said) which was... nice, I guess... but then still kept releasing packs and introducing even more problems. 🫠 Dolla dolla bill, y'all.
