🦋 [FIXED] Update 7/23/2024 broke Glasses -- Update 8/8/2024 resolved this. Totes didn't help that I tracked it down and shared my results..
This concerns these Bug Reports:
⋆⋅ FOR POSTERITY:
The problem is in the EXE files. I've troubleshooted this for the past 18 hours. I should be sleeping. The problem is in the EXE files.
If I replace my 1.108.335.1020 EXE with my backed up 1.107.151.1020 EXE, the problem goes away. Other features don't work properly but the glasses don't distort.
By process of elimination, the problem is in the EXE files. I went through the patch package files. I butchered my INSTALL FOLDER for science, let's put it that way. I could explain to you step by step in detail how I troubleshooted this and how I butchered my INSTALL FOLDER to verify it but I'd prefer no one try to replicate what I did to see it for themselves then have to reinstall their game if they accidentally delete or forget where something goes.
Pass this on to whomever needs to see it in the event they don't already know, and merge this report with this [OPEN] report https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Glasses-frame-distorted/td-p/13895290 , thanks.
