Alpha 0.6.3 - NPCs Have Feelings Now (and They Know Where You Are) đź’…
Coming Soon for Everyone, but Early Access Starts Now!
Hey friends, degenerates, scholars, and patrons of chaos...
Alpha 0.6.3 is almost here... and early access has already begun rolling out!
✨ First through the door: Muses
đź’ž Next up: Friends with Benefits
👥 Then: Friends
Everyone else, hang tight. The full public release is coming soon. But if you’re in the right tier, get ready to dive in, because this update is a monster. NPCs are now living, breathing creatures with social lives, stress, drama, and the ability to develop crushes. Yes, even on you.
What's Coming in Alpha 0.6.3?
Ambient NPC Interactions
“Wait, you’re here? Ugh.” – probably an NPC who hates you.
NPCs now actually exist in the world with real schedules and emotions.
Expect side-eyes, flirty waves, death stares, and maybe the occasional awkward shuffle if someone’s catching feelings.
Their mood and behavior shift based on where they are and how they feel (broke, stressed, exhausted, just like us).
40+ unique contextual reactions across locations like The Pit, the library, classrooms, and more.
“Who’s Around?” UI
Tired of walking into a room and getting emotionally ambushed by an ex, a crush, and your rival all at once?
Now you can check who’s present, along with their relationship status and a quick chat option, before stepping in. Social anxiety simulator: optimized.
Dynamic NPC Conversations
Over 30 unique convo topics that change based on your relationship.
Multi-turn dialogues with meaningful choices (vent with them? tease them? awkward silence?).
Conversations reflect real NPC stress. Students talk about grades, finals, drama.
No action point cost. Just pure vibes.
Chance Encounters
NPCs can now initiate conversations with you.
10% chance per location visit for random interactions like shy hellos, flirty comments, or snide remarks.
They won’t spam. One per location per day, and they remember if they already approached you.
Crushes: Real, Organic, Chaotic
NPCs can now develop romantic feelings based on your actions and charm.
Two systems at work: instant triggers and slow burn accumulations.
Personalities matter. Romantics fall fast, shy ones take their sweet time, and yanderes… well, they don’t wait long.
DM Drama: Now in Your Inbox
Your NPC contacts are now sliding into your DMs with:
Love notes
Friendly gossip
Hostile taunts
Shy compliments
Casual hangout invites
There are 120+ unique message templates, and who messages you depends on relationship type, recent interactions, and their emotional state.
Lovers are more likely to reach out. So are enemies. Go figure.
Rumor Control (Or Escalation)
If a rumor is going around, expect someone to confront you.
15% chance per visit for an NPC to bring it up.
Relationship determines tone: Concerned friend? Sassy rival? Suspicious acquaintance?
5 player response options: deny, own it, deflect, joke, or confidently confess (if inhibition is low enough đź‘€).
Every choice impacts your relationships. Choose wisely.
Painkillers & Sore Bits
New item: Painkillers (aka emotional and physical damage control).
Clears hangovers
Reduces soreness
Available at pharmacies for $799 (10 uses)
Pairs perfectly with Chill Pills and Kitten Calm Cream for those post-party mornings
đź› Fixes, Improvements, Balance Changes
BJ skill now levels 50% faster. You're welcome.
Neutral NPCs no longer spiral into hatred just because you ignored them for 3 days.
Rhythm game events can now be skipped (with randomized outcomes) for players who hate dancing more than emotional vulnerability.
Dozens of UI tweaks, bug fixes, and polish across the board. Seriously, the changelog is so long we had to scroll twice.
TL;DR : It's Almost Here, and You Might Already Be In
Alpha 0.6.3 is one of the biggest and most complex updates yet, bringing the game world to life with fully integrated NPC presence, relationship progression, dynamic conversations, and emotional chaos.
If you're a:
Muse – you're already in! 🎉
Friend with Benefits – you’re next up 💕
Friend – you’re in soon 👀
Full public launch is coming later, when we start working on the 0.7 branch of the game.
Thank you all for making this possible. Your support powers everything. The drama, the mechanics, the horny math behind the crush system, all of it.
Now go prepare for awkward hallway encounters, flirty DMs, and the haunting knowledge that someone, somewhere, is developing a crush on you...
...and that someone is code. Glorious, beautiful, emotional code.

quick question- how do you put a perk card in MC inventory. I dont see the option to select a card and use it
the Perk card should go directly in your loadout screen (the red cards to the left). Which version are you using? There was a bug when you bought a card from the WishPlug App which I fix but it you use a old version of the game, it could be related.
