.:Sleeper's Chorus for Merfolk:.

.:Your sims have never felt so deceitfully rested~

∆•∆•∆•∆•∆

Bringing you another mini mod to slightly add some new gameplay and storytelling options to your sims game~

This mod has been sitting on my desktop for too long but today it finally sees the light of day and introduces a new way for your mersims to mess with people.  The new Sleeper's Chorus interaction can now be found on any denizen of the sea and allows mermaids to condemn their victims to an arguably peaceful sleep.

Writing this up having not slept at all last night it kind of ironic, no? My sleep schedule may be ruined but that doesn't mean our sims' sleep has to be!

.:Details~

THIS MOD REQUIRES THE XML INJECTOR BY SCUMBUMBO TO FUNCTION

The mod will contain the following edits to your mermaid sims:

∆ 1 new song interaction

  • Sleeper's Chorus

> Interaction is available for all mermaids teen and up

> Gives a confident buff to mermaid

> Gives a dazed buff to victims and has them pass out for a few sim minutes

.:How to Install

Drop the files into your mods folder and you're good to go

  • The Gameplay Spoilers folder is simply a collection of images showcasing the custom buffs this mod adds. It contains spoilers for mood effects, buff strength, and their in game descriptions. Please do not add this folder into your mods folder

.:Change Log

.:∆LAST UPDATED May 23rd 2024∆:.

∆ Various code cleanup and autonomy tweaks

∆ Bugs

  • Some other singing interactions for mermaid are put on a cooldown after using this interaction. Nothing game breaking but maybe slightly annoying if you like to spam interactions FIXED: Implemented a cooldown specifically for this power. Now works independently of the OG interactions and does not block them out after use

∆ Conflicts

  • None Know

.:Special Thanks

Many thanks to SACRIFICIAL for helping code the tranquilized interaction so sims will exit a pool or any body of water to faint upon being sung to!

And thank you for downloading and showing interest in my small sim projects. I hope you enjoy~
