.:Minor Werewolf Tweaks:.

.:Just a few simple edits to even out feral wolves

∆•∆•∆•∆•∆

This is a very tiny and honestly not a really in depth mod. All my text yapping just makes it seem like that.

Pretty much one day I decided to edit a few things that bugged me as I was playing with werewolves and I have just now decided to release it in-between my other planned posts to get it off my chest.

.:Details~

.:∆LAST UPDATED March 13th, 2024∆:.

THIS MOD REQUIRES THE XML INJECTOR BY SCUMBUMBO

This mod simply edits some of the game files to take the edge of of some of the annoying and silly little restrictions that I personally found slightly annoying while playing with the werewolves game pack. No new interactions or buffs will be found in this mod.

∆ Werewolf Scratch Fix: Honestly I found it kind of dumb that werewolves could only scratch an item once...Like ever. Imagine if your cat scratched a scratching post for 5 minutes and you had to replace the whole thing? Ridiculous.. Luckily this edit was a very simple fix which arguably makes it more pathetic that it shipped the way it did but eh, the in game lore they whipped up for werewolf scratching laws is really none of my business.

>> Werewolves can now scratch items that have already been scratched regardless of if they've been replaced or not

∆ Werewolf Pacify Cooldown Disabled: This one may be a bit more controversial considering it add difficulty? I think that's what they were going for? But to me it just seems ridiculous that you have to wait LITERALLY 96 IN GAME HOURS AKA 4 SIMS DAYS according to the game files just to have the privilege of calming down a borderline feral werewolf. Like, what? I get wanting to add challenge but this is simply tedious especially considering werewolves can go haywire multiple times a day if a pin drops the wrong way depending on temperaments. So yeah, I tackled that one real quick.

>> The Pacify Werewolf interaction no longer has a cool down and can be used whenever. It's a simple number change in the Buff file 292124<!--buff_Werewolf_Abilities_PacifyCooldown--> if you want a little bit more pause on such as to not make it too easy

∆ Attempt Simlish Communication Leniency: This one was just a nitpick for my own storytelling really. I was wondering why my wolves were losing social credit based on trying to warn their loved ones that they were about to turn into an uncontrollable beast and maybe that they should leave the room or give them some slack if they eat the family cat. I can kind of see why it's listed as a negative interaction since "werewolf scary" but come on man, they're trying their best!

>> The Attempt Simlish Communication Interaction will no longer trigger a small relationship loss when used

∆ Werewolf Fair Fights: Another controversial one but again another nitpick for my personal gameplay. Fighting other werewolves in rampage form netted some negative relationship points between them, which does make sense. However if you want to fight freely and rack up some points in rampage mode where other point netting options are very limited, I found it to be annoying having so many enemies by the end of a feral run. This introduces a mutual agreement between rampaging wolves that all is fair in love and war when feral. What happens in rampage mode, stays in rampage mode.

>> Removes relationship loss when rampaging wolves brawl with other wolves.

**NOTE: Any of these files can be deleted as they do not work in tandem. That way you can customize your experience with this mod if my restrictions or lack there of are too harsh

God, how did I ever miss your page? I almost always play with occults. Love your mods! Would it be possible to make a werewolf tweak where fury below half the meter doesn't disable normal introductions?

This will make werewolves playable to me. I just started visiting a family of werewolves with my usual sim and never played them directly because I wasn't thrilled with their game features.
