I’m excited to share the first WIP of my new 3D model — Star from the cult movie The Lost Boys (1987).

Right now, I’m working on sculpting her face and overall look. I’m doing my best to capture her soft, mysterious beauty…

Though I must confess: her face is currently going through the “please don’t judge, it’s a WIP” phase — and at moments it looks a bit like my own face when I read the news lately 😅

But don’t worry, she’ll soon return to her enchanting, dreamy self — I promise!

Next, I’ll be focusing on her hair and her signature boho–vintage outfit that gives her that magical 80s vibe.

🎬 Fun Fact About the Film

Did you know that “The Lost Boys” was originally planned as a kids’ adventure movie similar to The Goonies?

In the early script, the characters were supposed to be under 14, and the vampires were meant to be more “cute” and innocent. But director Joel Schumacher insisted on shifting the tone to something more stylish, mature, musical, and gothic. Thanks to that decision, the film became a cult classic and set the trend for vampiric aesthetics in the late 80s!
