Creature from the Black Lagoon WIP🦎

Hey there, awesome patrons!🤗 I'm excited to give you a sneak peek at the nearly completed model of the Creature from the Black Lagoon! Can you believe it? This little project ended up taking a tad longer than expected – turns out those scales are pickier than a cat in a seafood market! 😅I'm still adding texture to the front of his legs and prepping the STL file. But I hope this guy will fit right in with the rest of your classic monster crew!

Big thanks to each and every one of you for your ongoing support! 🙏You'll have this model in your hands before you know it.

Thank you for your understanding!🙏 I genuinely appreciate your patience. I'm putting in my best effort, and I hope you'll be just as pleased with David's model of Lost Boys.

Great. Do we have a time frame for this? Thanks

Regrettably, I wasn't able to meet the deadline with this model! 😥 It's already published, but it took longer than anticipated, particularly as I meticulously counted the scales on its body! I sincerely apologize and am preparing a special bonus for all my patrons.

Mmm ... What about the poll so?

D
Diklichart · April 9, 2024

There's definitely going to be a poll! But before we dive into that, I've got to wrap up work on Dale from Lost Boys, the winner of our last poll.

be careful with your reference photos, there are two suits in the original film and several more from the three sequels. (assuming you are going for a single version- and amalgam is cool too)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention! I've also noticed the variations in the Creature's costumes, particularly in the design of his legs and the fins on his feet across different photos. I primarily relied on still frame photos from the original movie and old posters for reference 😊
