· Sent outside of bounds after combat (Left peak) – discovered by bebroeater

--Solution: Move the transition spot to suitable location.

--Dev note: Whoops, this sort of fell through the gap – the problem here is that I made this map bigger for version E and forgot to move the locations you “spawn” after fighting. Kind of game breaking, so sorry for that. 

· Game crashing when Kris’ corruption gets too high – discovered by TexoGene

--Solution: Turned off the Preloader.

--Status: FIXED For Version 0 0 1 (F)

--Dev note: As reported by TexoGene, the game came up with an error message and shut down when trying to talk to Kris, when SHE has high corruption. Now, I’ve also been seeing reports of the game randomly crashing for no real reason – so it could be just one of those dumb crashes that RPG maker engine just does sometimes. RPG Maker is notorious for crashing for no reason, but that’s just the cards we’ve been dealt.

THAT being said, I doubled checked around the internet, and it could be that one of my plugins, the Preloader, is causing this. The idea of the plugin is that it will load everything in the map whenever you enter BEFORE you interact with anything – you can see it most at the Library, as it takes a few seconds to “load in”. Apparently, this plugin, despite it being for stability, ends up causing a couple of bugs that pop up as the game goes on for longer, which is what I think is happening here. I can’t prove it and can only really speculate since during playtesting (though I’ve only spent about an hour doing so) everything seemed to be running smoothly, but I’ve disabled this plugin for now, and cross my fingers that it will improve the game’s performance, even if loading times are a little longer.

For now I’m going to class this as “Fixed”, but I will keep my eye open to see if it crops up again in the future.

· Level up Soulless bug.

--Solution: removed him.

--Dev note: So in the Left Path, the Radio Tower Map, I left one of my “boosting Soulless” in the game. I usually use them to test fight difficulty (changing Kyrsten’s level to see how players would do) and delete these when I release the game, but this naughty little guy was missed. And he’ll totally level you up each time you talk to him.

So enjoy him I guess, make your Kyrsten super strong for free haha. I mean, probably not a good idea to max out Kyrsten’s level this early on in the game, as it might break it, but I’m kind of interested in seeing what builds you can make! ;)
