If anyone has trouble getting the newer packs working, like Adventure Awaits and Businesses and Hobbies and you are using DLC Unlocker v2, go here: https://pastebin.com/a556SmTf (< Paste this URL into your browser, clicking the link doesn't seem to properly load the URL). Paste the text from this site over your existing text in you ini file (g_The Sims 4.ini) and save it. You can access the ini file by using the option (3. Open folder with installed configs) while your DLC Unlocker is open. It goes without saying, make sure your unlocker is installed. Hope it helps, my DLC Unlocker v2 worked on all the packs EXCEPT Adventure Awaits, Life and Death, Businesses and Hobbies and Enchanted by Nature until I manually updated the configs!
if i update my game will the expansion pack still work?
hey to we put the kits in the same folder as the expantionn packs ?

im kinda confused when i extract the files (using winrar) should i be extracting them directly into the sims 4 folder or into its own folder first before being put into the sims 4 folder? all my packs say owned but not installed also im not super tech savvy ;(
Into the "The Sims 4" folder (just after EA Games) you have to put the folder with the name of the pack (often SP with a number) then you have to go into the "__Installer" folder then "DLC" and here you put the folder named "SP something" from the "DLC" folder that you extracted, I hope it' clear enough...
also the mac tutorial doesnt pop up either when you click on it
HI THE MAC DLC ISNT WORKING.. srry cap lock but when i try to click prepare dlc unlocker it doesnt allow me to open it. does it need to be updated?? i just downloaded it back bc my game updated.
go to settings, then privacy and security, then click open anyway! see if that works!
