DevTalk: Dynamic Character Bios

One of our goals is to make the world and characters feel more alive as the story progresses. Today, we'd like to talk about a feature designed to help players stay connected with the cast throughout their journey: Dynamic Character Bios.

What Are Dynamic Bios?

Instead of presenting a static description that never changes, each girl's biography will evolve alongside the story.
As the MC spends more time with the characters, experiences important events, and develops different kinds of relationships, the information available in their profiles will be updated to reflect these changes.
In other words, the biography won't just tell you who a character is; it will also remind you where your relationship currently stands.

Where Can You Find Them?

Character bios will be accessible through the Wardrobe interface.
When selecting a girl in the Skin Shop, players will find a dedicated button next to the character preview. Clicking it will open the biography window.

The system currently includes biographies for:
🍸 Lo
🍸 Lu
🍸 Kiko
🍸 Michelle
🍸 Madonna
🍸 Chloe
🍸 Greta
🍸 Jeremiah.

Characters that haven't been introduced yet will remain hidden.

Instead of displaying their profiles, players will see a faceless silhouette marked with a question mark, hinting that there are still people left to discover.

Progression Through Story Milestones

Biographies update automatically when players reach important story milestones.
These updates occur at the start of each new day, ensuring the information reflects the protagonist's most recent experiences.
Some characters share similar progression rhythms due to their involvement in the main story, while others have their own unique timelines.
Whether you haven't played in a few weeks or simply forgot where things currently stand, these bios should help you quickly get back into the story.

Notifications and Discoverability

Whenever a biography receives new information, the player will be notified.
A notification badge will appear along the path leading to the biography screen:
🍸 On the smartphone
🍸 On the laptop interface
🍸 On the wardrobe menu
🍸 On the affected character.

Additionally, a pop-up message similar to an incoming text notification will appear on the left side of the screen:

Once the player opens the updated biography, all related notifications disappear.

With Dynamic Character Bios, we hope to make every relationship easier to follow, more memorable, and more rewarding to experience as the world around the protagonist continues to change.
