I hadn't anticipated that I'd receive this much love and support for BigPEmu, so I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have come here and offered your patronage. I absolutely didn't expect to surpass that $300 goal this soon. I'm going in for surgery tomorrow morning, and will likely need a couple of weeks to recover, but I'll make good on that milestone as soon as I'm back on my feet!
Thank you all, again, for helping put some warmth back in this old man's heart during a much-needed time.

Heh, just having read 'choose your destiny', when I read about them ripping junk out of your neck my brain immediately fired: "FATALITY!" Is that weird? Yes, that's weird. But I'm glad it wasn't actually a fatality and you're good. Take your time... you talked about weeks, not days ;)
Thanks everyone, I made it through and am back home recovering now. Waiting on biopsies for some more lymph nodes and fatty tissue that caught them by surprise while they were in there, and I think I'm having some brain problems in adjusting to life with no thyroid. But there were no major complications this time (had a giant bleeding neck hematoma that almost killed me last time, can't remember if I ever mentioned that), so I'm otherwise recovering pretty well. Aside from the biopsies of the extra junk they ripped out of my neck, which will offer a more immediate glimpse into potential nearby metastasis, the next step toward finding out more about potential distant metastasis will be happening in about 5-6 weeks. Probably nothing major happening between now and then, so I should have a chance to sneak some productivity in there.

Hey Rich! Thx for your kind reply. I guess you have other things in mind at the moment. Your Emulator just nailed it with awesome Feedbacks at YouTube, Facebook groups etc. I just wanted to say thank you. But first of all: Recover! 2nd Recover 3rd Recover....99 go on with your work! ;-)
