Notice Regarding This Month's Files

Hi there! First of all, I apologize for not being very active these past few days. So much has happened this past week that, combined with my poor health, it was impossible for me to meet all of this month’s deadlines 😵‍💫😔

I also wanted to give you a quick update on what I’ve been working on.

First off, the Shuten Douji model is now finished 🗿💜. The reason I was so late was that I started studying the use of shading for the model in more depth, which took me almost three full days to fully understand. However, I still have a long way to go to reach the level I’d like.

But I think this will make a big difference compared to previous models; the shading is much better now and works correctly with the lighting, though it’s currently limited to the Eevee engine. I also added a controlled shadow for the face, but I’ll include an external controller in case you want to adjust it to your liking (it took me almost two days to figure that out, lol 😵‍💫)

As for the monthly illustration, for the reasons mentioned earlier, I was unable to work on it 😔

However, there will be illustrations to promote the model as usual each month, so Medium Tier members will receive their Blend file pack tomorrow or by April 2 at the latest due to the delay. The same goes for Maximum Tier members; I want to work on things with plenty of time and space so I don’t have to rush and end up stressed out.

And finally, due to the pressure I’ve been under these past few months, I think the healthiest thing for me is to focus 100% on creating models, so for now I won’t be working on illustrations or VR montages anymore. I believe that if I want to improve, I need to focus 100% on one thing and not try to do everything at once, or my health will suffer like it has been. I apologize in advance for not giving much notice, but this is something I’ve been thinking about over the past few weeks 😵‍💫😔
