NEW DESIGN: American Bully (#13)
Hey folks, here is American Bully. He hasn't got a name yet but we'll fix it asap )
We attach a zip archive with STL files to this post, so please download it and print with pleasure!
We love this little guy! We love his regular eyes, they look great! And we love his cheeks, finally it could be possible to make them thanks to moveable/changeable heads. We do hope you'll love him as much as we do!
You'll find 2 heads with the dog - Standard and Sleeping in the archive. We're also working on one more head and then there will be magnets as well.
And we'd like to know if is there an expert at FDM printers here? We've just started printing with Ender 3 and focused on modelling. But now you can see that the dog has lots of stripes and that's not good. We suppose that it's the nozzle but maybe you met this problem before and could tell us what it might be. We'd be appreciate it!
Thank you!
Happy prints and we're waiting for your feedback )
With love and hugs 💜💜💜

I would check these: wobbling buildplate, belts tension and experiment with speed but also different filament brands can affect this .. e.g. white color is the worse (everything is visible there ;-) ).
Yeah, the belt of axis Y loose its tension but the buildplate doesn't go easily, it goes with some stops. Probably the rollers are not good, we're waiting for new ones and then make a test. Hope that it's the problem. Thank you for your answering 💜
Hi, The new dog is awesome. Will you be making the dogs with regular where the pupil is a orb or rounded? So about the FDM printer. I have 4 printers and my first was the Ender 3. I'm not sure that's a clog, but to check, while the nozzle is hot (210-215 degrees) push the filament through and see if it extrudes straight down. if it curls up or comes out very thin, then there is a minor clog. #2. Make sure your filament roll is not tangled or knotted while printing. #3. Make sure your buildplate does not wobble. Test it with your hand and see if it wobbles or wiggles like a birds wings flapping. I had/have that problem with my ender 3. #4. What layer height 0.12, 0.16, 0.2) are you printing at? Also what speed are you print at? example 50 mm/s? or faster?
Thanks a lot for your such detailed answer! And so sorry for my later one. It looks like the problem is belts tension and the rollers - they don't go smoothly. Now we're waiting for new rollers and then make some new tests. We hope that the is the problem. If not, we'll ask again )) And thank you so much again for your answering! There were so many interesting things in it that our understanding FDM printers are getting better and soon we'll be experts in it with our community help 💜 Do you mean some shape of glare in the pupil when you're saying about an orb or rounded? Could you send us a pic in direct messages ) And yeah, we're going to make regular eyes for the rest dogs. And some of those heads will be available only for our patrons 🤗
