NEW DESIGN: Little Miko and her kitsune (#73)
Meet new Little Dark's friend - Little Miko (design number 73)!
Little Miko is a young spirit medium who can communicate with the spirit realm. By her side is her magical fox companion — the enchanting kitsune.
Little Miko comes as a customizable model kit. We’ve prepared several outfit and hairstyle variations for Little Miko - a total of 17 STL files. You can see the options in the attached pics.
Kitsune has 4 looks and comes in 3 versions:
- For Dark - has holes for hands
- Keychain - has a loop for a chain
- Toy - just a figurine
We intentionally left some clearance between the parts. After working on Little Santa, we realized it's better when pieces fit a bit more loosely — that way, they can always be glued or attached with adhesive pads like UHU (which we personally use because it allows us to swap out parts easily).
Miko has a short neck — on one hand, it might fall out if the figure is dropped and not secured with glue or pads, but on the other hand, the short neck lets you slightly rotate the head, which adds life and expression to Miko.
Before printing Miko in color, we recommend doing a test print in a single color to experiment.
If some parts feel too loose or too tight, feel free to scale them up or down slightly.
Japan is a whole universe of incredible culture and tradition. Even though we haven’t fully discovered it for ourselves yet, it hasn’t stopped us from drawing inspiration from it.

I really liked your realistic versions of the wolf and horse models! Thank you for your work! Can I hope for more models soon? For example, a fox or maybe domestic birds? A parrot?)))
Thank you so much for the kind words. We're very happy to hear that you like our realistic flexi wolf and horse models. We do have plans to make a realistic flexi fox and deer — they would look great together with Little Miko. But I can’t say yet when we’ll start working on them. As for birds (if you mean realistic flexi toys), unfortunately, we’re not planning to make them — they’re just too complex for FDM printing. However, we do have plans to create a few more birds for Little Dark, in the same style as her crow or owl.
I love the version of the skull face with the little horns! Is there one like that for Dark as well?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us :) Little Dark doesn't have that kind of face yet — only Little Miko does for now. But we liked it too, so maybe we'll create more face options for Little Dark and Grim closer to Halloween.
i want to print so many of these! I have multi color capability and love the look of her in the white and red.... there was no way we could have her split (laying on her back?) to make the print split/quicker? You've spoiled us ;)
Ahh thank you! 🥰 We’ve been thinking about ways to print the skirt and blouse separately, but for this particular outfit, we haven’t yet figured out how to make it work. Unfortunately, there are some technical limitations with FDM 3D printing, and the model’s orientation affects the final print quality. But there’s always a solution — and we’ll definitely come up with something for future models!
Have you ever done a unicorn? It was would be so cute to add a horn to your horse design!
Yes, we made unicorns quite a while ago — the cartoonish Ramses (model 12) and the skeleton one (model 27) for Halloween 2023. But you're right, we do have plans to make another unicorn based on the realistic horse (model 65). That will probably happen closer to autumn. For now, we're working on other ideas — and there are just so many of them!
