NEW DESIGN: Meatball the Cat (#72)
We wanted to create a chubby cartoon-style cat and named him Meatball.
The cat comes in three versions:
1) with a fused (static) head,
2) with a movable head using a pin,
3) with a movable head without a pin (files with "SNAP" in the name).
As an experiment, we decided to try a simple snap-fit connection, similar to what some other creators use, and we’d love to get your feedback on it. If it proves to be more effective and convenient, we may switch to this type of connection and stop using the pins in the future.
Pre-colored 3MF files (Bambu Studio/Orca) are included in the archive.
We really hope you'll enjoy it )
Happy printing and have a great weekend!
With lots of hugs 💜💜💜

i printed off the pin for its head, but it only fits the neck or the head? Not both?
Hi, sorry for a delay with my answer. The pin fits both the neck (meatball_body.stl) and the head (meatball_head.stl). Just make sure that you printed the body and the head without SNAP in the file names. I think your issue is that you printed the head or/and body parts with “SNAP” in the name — these parts of the cat connect without a pin.
Downloaded. Any news on MMF Tribe? I feel like I'll have to keep track of downloaded models in the comments until it launches)))
There’s some good news :) In early June, expect an email notification from MyMiniFactory. We’ll be distributing the current models, and as for the previous ones — it’s still unclear, but we’ll probably handle those manually on a case-by-case basis.
Realmente bellos!!!
Gracias 🤗💜
