NEW DESIGN: Little Santa and his Snowman (+ Rabbit) (#59)
Hi everyone, we're about to leave for a two-week vacation (29.11-13.12, and we're going to take part in the Paris Doll Rendez-Vous doll convention (Paris, France on December 1st) with our BJD doll project - Walloya Morring, so if someone is going to visit this convention, we'll be happy to see you there). We thought we'd finish the planned tasks, make the releases, and leave peacefully. But it hasn't worked out that way — we haven't managed to complete everything, and we'll have to bring our laptops with us and work during the trip as much as possible.
But now, we’d like to introduce our new design: Little Santa.
This is another character from the "Little Shadow and her Friends" collection.
The Santa has the following options:
Characters. There are two types of characters - Santa and Ded Moroz (the Russian version of Santa Claus).
- Santa has a shorter fur coat, longer legs and a hat with a pompon
- Ded Moroz has a longer fur coat, shorter legs and a hat without a pompon.
Faces. there are three types of faces:
a) for 3d printed oval eyes,
b) for 6 mm round eyes,
c) Skull
Beard. There are two types of beards:
- with slots for ears that are printed separately,
- without slots for ears.
There are 19 parts of Little Santa in total.
Although almost all the parts fit together quite tightly, you can use glue for a stronger bond.
We recommend using basic and matte PLA filaments.
Based on our experience, the most challenging part was inserting the eyebrows — the shape is curved, and you may need to trim the eyebrows slightly at the base.
The Little Santa's favorite pet is a Snowman. It is available in two types: Multiparts and Solid.
There is also another pet in the bunch - a Rabbit.
Both the Snowman and Rabbit comes in 3 versions:
For Dark has holes for hands
Keychain has a loop for a chain
Toy - just a figurine
We hope you'll figure out how to assemble Santa. All the parts have notches that will help you understand how to put it together. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out — we’re bringing our work laptops and will work as much as we can. Hopefully, we’ll have time to create assembly guidelines.
That'd be great to hear what you think about Little Santa )
We hope you enjoy him and his pets ))
P.S. We've checked, the pets work great with all characters of the Little Dark collection.
P.S.S. We're lack of time but we're going to replace previous gift box and snakes for Little Dark. We've tested them only with Little Yule but the Yule's arms are a bit different (longer), so we know about that issue and going to fix it as soon as possible.
P.S.S.S. Free access to this design has ended. Our paid subscribers can purchase it on the MyMiniFactory website using the club discount code. The code and MMF link can be found here

Can we get a skeleton rabbit and skeleton snowman?!
Oh, if there are more requests for them, I will make them. But right now, we’re way behind schedule, so we’ll be working on new designs and revising the previous ones for printing with AMS and the new head attachment system.
I love theses, I hope you come out with a fox one! <3
Yeah, I've wanted to make a little fox for a long time! And one day I will ) Thank you!
next year will be waiting for Snegurochka) with squirell and bear)
That's an amazing idea! Okay, there will be Little Snegurochka with a squirrel next year ))
I am struggling with the eyebrows. Could you please help me out ?
Yeah, that's a tricky to put them in the slots. We're going to make the slot in the faces a bit bigger but we're on our way on vacation, so it'll take us some time (we take our laptops with us so we can work during our trip). But there are some fast suggestions: you can print the eyebrow 1-2% smaller, if you are good at the slicer, you can make the slot a bit bigger using the eyebrow as negatives (so that's what we're going to do when it's possible). You also can make flow a bit lower when you print the eyebrows.
thank you! is it possible to ask you to make additional package with human faces for Grim and Dark Queen?)) Like Santa has))
Yes, originally Little Dark and Grim were meant for the Skull face, and we didn’t even consider regular human faces. But now, as you can see, we’re heading in that direction, and yes, we plan to give them human faces. After the holidays, we’ll work on this. The main question here is whether we can create cute faces that fit the existing slots in the bodies without having to redo everything.
Having trouble getting eyebrows to go in place. What can I do ?
Aaaaw no pueden ser más tiernos 😍 me encantaron !!! Muy lindo trabajo 👏🏻
Muchas gracias 🤗💜🥰
Which Red Sparkle Filament is that? Santa looks awesome and I adore the Snowman. Safe Travels ❤️
Lisa, thank you) Now we're at the airport waiting for our flight. We used PLA Galaxy by Devil Design.
Awwwwww!!!! Those rabbits!!!
Thank you, Iryna! Yeah, I think they are so cute as well! You need to print them ))
amaizing, beautiful, do you have the santa with crocs too please? it would be full funny, i would love it too
Thanks! Hm, Little Santa has thick legs and needs big Crocs. We need to check this, but I think it won’t look good. Right now, we’re at the airport, heading on vacation, and unfortunately, there won't be time for such experiments. We also wanted to make skis, but we didn’t manage to. We’ll save the skis for next year.
