EA and the buyout

Hi, I wanted to make a short statement considering the recent buyout of EA.

I am in no way shape or form supporting this buyout. I try my best to stay lighthearted because at the end of the day this world is very scary right now. The Sims was my escape from reality, my creative outlet. I will continue to use the models from the game to tell my story. However, I'm working hard to stray away from Sims content to create bigger things. This game has been my childhood. I started off by playing The Sims Bustin' Out and fell in love with the genre ever since. I took part in signing the petition that has been placed online because I care about other people's lives. I just wanted to to give my opinion on this situation because of how important it is. I appreciate everyone's support of my work and though I have never been apart of the EA Creator network, this doesn't mean that I shouldn't be able to use my voice and speak up against huge buyouts that can have an affect on the future of gaming. We're all here to have fun, not to bring our real world problems into fantasies. What's the fun in that?
