I'll get them on PC, but I'll never buy an X-box. I hate X-box's.
I'll admit, it took me way too long to remember that ZeniMax owned id Software, MachineGames, and Arkane Studios and get the joke. 😅 Although you can count me among those who expects Microsoft to keep putting these games on PlayStation and Nintendo platforms. There's more money to be made selling games on other platforms than there is holding the games back and hoping some people cave and buy an Xbox. We already know that Microsoft is well aware of this as all of their "exclusives" are also on PC. Even Sony's slowly cluing in on it.
Three PS5 on one store table? Not very realistic from a German point of view - the consoles are still sold out in seconds after a shop start to sell a batch.
I may be wildly off-base with my theory, but I almost see these types of endeavors as a means for Microsoft to exit the console market. We’re seeing more of their content available on PC and through 3rd-party vendors, and they’ve outright announced that they want to expand further. Couple this with Microsoft’s advantage of having the necessary data farms to offer gaming as a service, it stands even more to argue that they don’t need the hardware market. Why spend money designing and maintaining console hardware when you can just let others do that for you? I really think Microsoft is planning to put the axe to XBOX hardware and move entirely to being a software services company. That or they simply acquired Bethesda in an effort to learn how to provide far more broken updates for Windows 10.
