Just realized.....he's not exactly wearing a mask himself. I presume Eugene doesn't live in a remote island. Publishing his picture to the internet would be just as damaging, or worse, for him.

Analog and D-Pad don't look like photographers, so I think Eugene is safe...

So, my first thought is that Ethans ex-girlfriend is going to see this and realize he was actually telling the truth.

Eugene reminds me of a grown-up Cartman

You'd _think_ that Eugene was given a clue about what really happened, but, you know, cheese puff stains on his face. Maybe not the most detail-oriented villain around.

The *point* of that gag was not that he's not detail-oriented, but to draw attention to the fact that even though he set up a monitor to tune in and tease the heros about not catching him, he still would have had no realistic idea WHEN they'd actually arrive. He can't just sit there and wait for days, so naturally he'd be in the middle of something else when they finally showed up. Maybe he's sitting there coding his next robot, snacking away on cheese puffs and red bull, when suddenly "beep beep beep" motion alert tells him that the heroes have arrived, and he has to scramble to get on the video call. Comics always tend to show the villains ready to take on the heroes, composed and in full costume, no matter what. You never see the Fantastic Four arrive in Latveria to find Doctor Doom in the middle of taking a shit. In this case (and given our current societal struggles adjusting to life-via-zoom), it seemed more realistic that it would be less perfectly-executed.
