So I think the other one was REALLY funny, compared to this version, however, I agree with previous people's posts where they were like "We'd need some context" - Since I knew the context of the "from the brain" perspective, it's fantastic. But, not as generally understandable. If you lead the other comic with some exposition (don't know how you feel about having a verbal rant/link-to-the-trainwreck on your comic post, but that might help other people appreciate the joke of the "From the brain" perspective a lot more.
Whoa. What a freaking train wreck. Here's a link shortened for the...best??... parts, for anyone who is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsB7g0efSmg
I agree, I think this comic is funnier to those (including me) who aren't familiar with exactly what happened. I have some googling to do :-p
I like the first one more, if i must choose that is. Both are good.
I enjoyed the first one especially the last panel, but I was having to play catch up on what was going on. This new comic is more succinct and I think funnier because of it. I think it’s a shame you can’t use both, but i’d Opt for this.
This one seems to have a broader appeal, since I honestly had no idea off hand who the first one was even about, really.
I understand what the first one is now having read this second one. So I'd go with this one. Though I suspect someone that knows people and their names would connect better than I did with the first
I really liked the first one. I hadn't seen the presentation, myself, but a friend of mine gave me the rundown yesterday, and that comic really seemed to nail it.
This one makes more sense if you didn't see E3 than the first. As a software engineer, I really resonate with the second panel of this one as well.
As one who didn't watch E3, I have to concur. This makes much more sense.
First, FYI, the first panel, second text bubble, should be "Muppets trying to ham it up". Second, I dunno. I feel both are a bit weak. No insult, your a great artist, just don't feel like this is your best work. I think we can all agree E3 is a poorly run dumpster fire. (Hmm. Maybe a comic on a poorly run dumpster fire? ) Any how, either will work or run something else. I support you.
No insult taken. I'm feeling really burnt out today, and nothing feels like its clicking.
Hmm, reading both I get the feeling that they should both be up there though going from this one to the other makes more sense to me. More showing the degradation of programmers at E3 and how some times it goes
