Monday Comic Edit
Okay, I'm not in love with the original version, and I think I like the way this one is framed a little better.
It feels like it makes more sense (I think I created a metaphor disconnect in the original re: why I'm talking about loot drops but showing cookies and broccoli), and this one also makes the whole thing a little less obvious from the get-go.
Happy to listen to feedback though.

I'm on the same boat - the first version was easier to follow and could apply to multiple games with loot systems though clearly the joke was Anthem's terrible loot. With this updated version, I wouldn't have understood you were talking about loot boxes if I hadn't seen the prior version. Of course you get the creator's override on this, but if voting counts I would say the original way you had it is better ^_^
The changes seem mostly superfluous, except for the Titling. Changing the title seems like it would aim more specifically at Anthem players, since they're the only ones likely to make the connection between "dessert" and "Loot drops".
first one makes more sense to me. like Brian i wouldn't have got that this was loot box related if i hadn't read the first one
Without having read the original one, I would not have gotten that this was about loot boxes. So I prefer the original one.

I felt like the first one was more in the head. I think we all for the most part have dealt with crap loot box drops. This one doesn't really show up in terms of what is in anthem if you're not playing it. The first on the other hand is pretty easy to read
Preferred the original. In the original I get the joke straight away ie loot boxes = yummy goodness therefore Anthem sucks because shitty loot boxes . In this one I’m like ‘what does Anthem have to do with desert? Also FYI ‘used band-aid’ is more original than earwax. I think you hit it out of the park the first time :)..
