Yikes. It's a good thing Ethan got out of the house he was building out of Nicole's red flags.
Uh ... There's multiple cameras on ever street corner nowadays... Not to mention you think Scott would have cameras up on the store as well. It's no possible for Ethan and Lucas to NOT have video of the culprit. Keeping it a secret at this point is a pretty lame contrivance.
The more I think about it, the more I'm convicend this is not Nicole's doing. It has been established that she is very apt in manipulation - maybe she really doesn't realize it. But if she were to target Ethan, it'd be in a different way. Unless Nicole has an alter ego or something...
One thing that gets me worried (kinda), is that Ethan is furious. I don’t remember seeing him in such a state. This is getting on his nerves, and that means he’s gonna make mistakes (hopefully, mistakes you can respawn from).
Maybe he could fake his own death to make her leave him alone. It would be a huge mistake when they bump into each other.
There are these things called camera's. The fact that no one has had the idea to mount one to record any of this is a huge plot hole.
That one bothers me as well. Although, if the assailant is halfway smart, they might conceal their face (and maybe wear baggy clothing) to avoid recognition.
It's a testament to the quality of the writing that we still aren't sure if it was her, or the Troll, or someone else...
Wonder if she's still gaslighting
Tim. Great writing and "drawing". It's so much more than drawing, to me it's almost animated. Who hurt you though?? :D Thanks
It reminds me of the pre-2019 or so comics with the more fun expression work but with the polish and better rendering we have nowadays
I don't think she's the problem..
Part of me does wonder if she is legitimately a red herring here and something else is happening, it's hard to trust her word but it could also be something even worse that we initally think "Oh, this is obviously Nicole lashing out" instead, yknow?
It's not a hard conclusion to make because we have seen Nicole be emotionally abusive and manipulative, we can mentally link it as her escalating, but the thing that's getting me is that as the perspective viewer we never get *confirmation* of it. We don't *know* if it was Nicole who made that listing, we dont *know* if she's the one who's been vandalizing the store. We can assume, but even as the viewers it feels like just as likely she could be playing stupid that she legitimately could have nothing to do with this.
