Seriously. You'd won. All you had to do is sit back and be winners.

I have many disks squirelled away. But I trnd to rebuy the games rather rhan track them down. Copying all 4 CDs to the PC for BG2 was quite the wait. And many of their original installers won't recognize my system anyway. Many Linux versions ended up requiring a Full Download (Neverwinter Nights) anyway.
I'm glad I'm not a collector, so this doesn't bother me near as much as it's bothered some other people haha. I do enjoy the ability to trade games with my friends and brother every now and then, but even then, it's not that often. Thankfully, Steam has a "family" setting where games can be shared seamlessly (the only catch is you can't play them at the same time I think?). If Sony could implement that, it would be amazing, but I won't hold my breath.
Sony will have a full monopoly on game prices. You WILL notice this change, whether you only bought digital in the first place or not.
Let me tell you. People may be yelling, but games will still be selling. This button is no nuke.
I most probably won't buy a PS6 due to this. I'm currently looking at in-house streaming solutions to stream from my gaming PC to my TV. I already ordered the first batch of stuff i need to upgrade my network infrastructure (replacing a switch and some ethernet cables). When those are installed, i'll do some tests and see what part needs to be improved next. If it can't be done to a satisfactory level with streaming, i'll look into long HDMI cables and how i can route them from my PC to my TV in another room.
Mhm... Looking at this comic makes me aware that there is a bit of an issue in the way comics are now released on a time-delay for non-patreons. Not sure how much back it currently is, but by the time this comic is available to the public it will be much less "relevant". (Damn, cannot think of the right word to use...) At some point in time comics about current events will be months apart....
It's 2 per week for non patreons and the regular 3 per week for us so it will add up a lot over time.
Yeeeaaah. Tosspots.
