Just rewatched your Cunk on life episode; did you know her new one about films comes out, I think 15 or 16th of November xx
Guys, I've just admitted myself in to a "Green Wing Rehab Centre"... don't be too long 😜
I hope it's being run by Michelle Gomez.
Well that's a bit... freakeeeeeeeeee....
No video so far today on Patreon or YouTube. I hope everything is ok.
There isn’t a YouTube upload for three Fridays as this was when they were checking out I’m Alan Partridge, which was ultimately dropped. Dropped shows don’t end up on YouTube. I think this is the last of the three Fridays though, so Green Wing should start over there next week.
May I come with two recommendations? I’ve seen them mentioned before, but ‘Plebs’ and ‘Black Books’ are two of my favourite shows ever (that you haven’t seen already)! (FND and Green Wing being amongst my other favourites.) The latter is probably my all time favourite show ever, Tamsin (Jackie/Caroline) plays one of the three main characters, and it is mainly written by Dylan Moran who plays one of the other mains. (And before anyone comes at me, I know he was writing it with several others like Andy Riley and the amazing Graham Linehan (IT Crowd, Father Ted, ++). The humour is certainly quite absurd but to me it’s such a classic. The third main character is played by Bill Bailey who’s also a comic genius, so yeah. That trio is something special! There are also an incredible amount of guest appearances from SO MANY known names from Julian Rhind-Tutt (Dr. McCartney), Olivia Coleman, Martin Freeman and Sally Philips to Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and David Walliams.. ect, etc. Plebs is kind of the Inbetweeners set in Acient Rome. (They were told not to promote it like that initially (at least so I’ve heard), but eventually even some of the actors started saying it.) It starts out with three main characters, where one of them is Tom Rosenthal (mentioning him specifically since you know him from FND). I find it hilariously written, and it has references to things in the modern day in a very clever way, which is easy to miss (which I think makes it even better when rewatching it) I’d love to tell you a bit about the characters, as there’s one in particular that I know a lot of people falls in love with almost immediately, but I’d say it’s even better just to experience them as you go. And they do have a goood amount of great actors both as regular features such as Karl Leopold Theobald (Martin Dear), and appearances/cameos from Paul Ritter, Danny Dier, Tom Rosenthal’s father (Jim Rosenthal), and many more. Won’t mention more names as it might be fun to see some random ones pop up too. Sorry for the long comment. Just hoping that the more people suggest something, the greater chance you might see it:) and yeah, I love those two shows with my whole heart and I still laugh out loud after watching them far too any times. All the best to you, I really love your reactions♥️ and I look especially forward to Green Wing every Friday at the moment! have a great weekend! x
Plebs will replace Green Wing when it ends 👍
I actually read the title in Mike’s voice 🤣 Is that just me?
I'm glad I got this month's patreon for free. Run out of decent stuff to watch 🤣. It's all subjective I know.
No problem, guys. Wishing you both a happy Friday.
sorry ain't good enough !! got the wife looking at me like she wants to start a conversation so thanks a bunch !!
oh god now she's put her tight fitting leggings on. if she's horny i'm holding you two responsible.
There's still plenty of popular shows you can sink your teeth into here. Royle Family, Plebs, Bad Education just to name a few. Hopefully some of these pop up in the future. However I'm loving every minute of this Patreon so I'll be here no matter what.
popular doesn't mean good. That's like saying Mrs browns boys is good lol, you people should pick shows based on their sense of humour, not just cos u like it
Thanks for the heads up
Please watch one foot in the grave 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yess! At least some people ave good taste here 😎
Please consider The Trip (Coogan/Brydon), What we do in the shadows (Matt Berry) or Lifes too short (Gervais/Merchant/Warrick) as potential next shows. Happy Friday.
I don't think they would like the trip if they didn't like Alan Partridge. It doesn't really match the things they have loved and is too like the things they haven't liked
My reaction to this comment was the same as Moss picturing the first scene of Carrie🚪
Also love ‘Hello Ladies’ featuring Stephen Merchant - I know you’d love it. Also only 1 season of 8 episodes.
Much better than anything Ricky has done since.
I know Alan Partridge didn’t resonate with you but would love to watch his film ‘alpha papa’ as a one off - it’s genius. Maybe use it as a palate cleanser between a watched series and a new one!
Alan Partridge didn't resonate with them. I assume you didn't know as otherwise you wouldn't be recommending Alan Partridge.
Whenever use get a chance you should defo watch royal family its a top 10 british sitcom very funny with heart.
The recent series with King Charles being promoted to series regular is really good! Prince William has even been on Graham Norton to promote it
I feel more betrayed than Hila Klein.
