Such a great episode hahaha
sticks and stones may break their bones but words will never hurt them. lol
It annoys me the use of 'electrocute' to describe an electric shock, it means to kill by electric shock
Sad times, Super Hans (Matt King) has had a stroke 😢
Do they recognise him from Gavin and Stacey I haven't heard them acknowledge it
Just for info, there was a 3 year gap between this and them returning for S9.
Series 9 is excellent!
I think Super Hans in this episode is perhaps inspired by the musician Steve Ludwin, who around the time of this episode was doing the rounds on daytime TV because he's a snake enthusiast who injects himself with snake venom to give himself immunity to their bites, and claims it has all kinds of medicinal and anti-aging properties. He also auditioned for Velvet Revolver in the early 2000s. Interesting character. Also, the station where they catch the train is the same one where Mark meets Sophie in Sectioning (and A Hard Day's Night). Trains from there don't go anywhere near the Quantocks.
I've just seen this! Diane Morgan's returning BBC comedy series gets first look at brand-new season https://share.google/UjhXxdIrphxJyYBQJ Very exciting!
Fun fact, the ticket inspector on the train is David Brents blind date in the pub gone wrong.
Makes me happy that mike watches tires
😂😂😂♥♥ ⚡
I think I must be alone in enjoying this episode. I think the ending is a perfect summation of Mark and Jez's relationship.
No actually I liked it too, but I'm easy to please and like all the episodes.
not the best episode but fortunately season 9 is very underrated and one of the rare examples of a big comedy series coming back after years away and being back to (almost) its peak of writing
Worst episode or no, your enjoyment made it a fun watch.
The thing I most remember Nancy from is Clueless the TV series, I think she played Alicia Silverstone's character.
Well f**k you too guys! 😅😂😆
Not sure what it is with dobby she a using fucker, can't stand her
Prob my least favourite episode, but still.. I think the friction/break-up of the El Dude Brothers needed to happen. Some great eps in S9 imo.
That’s guy playing football is Gav and smithy’s friend
Dick turpin to you you uncultured swine! https://youtu.be/HfyQS9Ez9rc
Only one series to go!! 😢 Would love Garth Marenghi's dark place as an option for after series 9
So next week we get episode 1 of season 9 which is great and the gavin and Stacy Chrismas special. Can’t wait
See, the thing about juice is...
Already to the last series! I will miss this!
What’s with the Debbie downers? If you guys were truly in love with Peep Show you would have made a full commitment and not moved to New York.
Yeah so much moaning, I've enjoyed it all.
After season 4 id say peep show slowly gets worse
I think it still holds up but the fall off is more around Series 7 - 9 just like Still Game with the high quality cameras and everything
yea, Season 9 is a highlight once again
I agree, I love S9
Worst episode in the whole show now onto the worst series. A disappointing end for such a great show
Season 9 is good. I think season 8 is definitely the worst
It never made sense to me why they also go to an electric sound like that, rather than the bug zapper snap that they actually sound like.
I don't see why they think Dobby is lovely? She had a complete personality change the other series, she's showed no interest in him and stalled at every possibility and she's showed no personality what so ever. This is the part I do not understand as if a girlfriend is showing no interest in me, I just move on and find someone else instead of begging her. In fact during the whole her making excuses to spend time with other men as she did, I'd have got rid then as that was weird. Or how she put mark off to go on another date first, that should have been the first clue at the very start!!! If a woman is interested in you, she'll put off anything she's doing for you. If you ask "wanna go out on a date on Friday?" and she says anything other than "yes", forget about it, she's just not that into you.
I'm the same as you but you do hear about men who say things like "I was chasing her for years and she rejected me 5 times but eventually we got together". I personally don't understand it but it does happen!
Id never take the light switch off lol i carefully make the gamble 😆
Ditto
Season 8, whilst still great, is the weakest IMO, particularly this episode. I really loved Season 9 though.
Series 1 - 4 are definitely the best, the other series have a lot of great moments but the whole Dobby thing went on for far too long. I also found the Elena thing to be tedious and Sophie being pregnant and the Jeremy and her... Like why? Sadly Series 9 is the worst of them all when it comes to a pointless boring overarching story. Again it's still really funny, but sadly I think after series 4 they just struggled to know what to do.
If you like only fools and gavin and stacey you will appreciate benidorm
I’d love them to review Benidorm. Supremely and brilliantly British but a lot more accessible to Americans than some of the other shows they’ve watched and not enjoyed.
"That was too hard, someone's gonna get hurt" 😂 we had a guy like that at an old job, felt left out and wanted to come along to play 5 a side, came on as a sub and immediately started complaining because he got shouldered off the ball.
One of the worst episodes in my opinion, Jeremy suddenly being in love with Dobby feels very forced, and the way Dobby just disappears at the end? Season 8 is by far the worst season for me.
Yea it feels like they tried to drag out the situation with her,so randomly thought of some extra shit. If they'd have placed seeds earlier it would have been fine
Let's go!!!
Peep show Mondays! 😮💨😁 Him & Her is definitely one you need to start watching on BBC iPlayer
Didn't it get like 5% in the last poll
