the art of being fine and forgetting

Here's something to look forward to! Musician Caroline Rose has an new album coming out titled "The Art of Forgetting" and the cover she chose was her in a room on fire. Not really an homage to "this is fine", tho that doesn't stop people in her comments from pointing and equating it to said meme. But, in a cool act of working together, she reached out and wanted to see if I could make a parody drawing of her for a concert shirt and we just finished and finalized the image (the first image in the set).

Also included are the first sketches and working on a design friendly one before just going back and redrawing the first two panels, as is the want of the people. Whatever! I just find it nice when artists can play nice and work together, even if it means just drawing the same dog over and over forever. Oh well, they paid. One step closer to being a  cartoonist respected by my peers (or maybe I'm looking for self-respect).
