My laptop was returned to me Saturday night. It works again, but they had to format the hard drive because the BIOS refused to recognize Windows.

On the plus side, I have backups of all my work and my Windows settings, but the downside is that I have to download all the programs again, since the recovery point doesn't recognize that it's from this laptop and sees it as if it were from another computer.

So, I have to download The Sims again and start over as a new user... since everything related to it was deleted. I mean, I lost my mods, my save files, my gallery, my settings, everything... I'll literally be starting The Sims from scratch.

For now, I'll just focus on installing the most urgent updates.

As I mentioned, I had my work files on a separate hard drive, since I have two hard drives in my laptop: one M.2 for the operating system and another mechanical one for mass storage.

I'd check how broken my mods were by Monday at the latest.

After this I'll be somewhat inactive, since the little joke cost me $2,800.00 MXN (approximately $170.00 USD), so I have to work overtime at the clinic, as I still need to buy school supplies for the return to classes.

I need to go to Catemaco and get a cleansing ritual, because I'm really unlucky... jajajajaja
