Upcoming updates
Hola, ¿cómo están?
As far as I'm concerned, everything's fine. Where I live, the operations against the cartels are still ongoing, and the presence of the army and the National Guard is still quite high.
While I was writing this, I heard gunshots and sirens in the background. But oh well, I'm used to it.
But anyway, I'm here to tell you about the updates I'll be making soon for my Sims 4 mods.
More changes for the "Spawn Control: Random NPCs and Services" mod
One of the features of the NPCC mod was that you could use Sims from your household as service NPCs; I've already managed to replicate it.
What does it mean?
NOW YOU CAN HAVE SERVICE NPCs THAT ARE MEMBERS OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD.
This change is ideal for those who enjoy creating drama in their games; combined with the new features in the family tree, the chaos is limitless. Furthermore, the special hidden traits that were assigned to NPCs to guide them toward a specific career will now be inheritable. That is, if the game's "Robin Hood" has a child, that baby will have a chance of becoming the next "Robin Hood."
Also, jobs are no longer exclusive to NPCs. This means that if you play with a Sim who was previously an NPC and move them between households, the game will no longer delete their job or assigned traits; you can also play with that Sim normally.
The only drawback is that, while that Sim is part of your active household, they may not go to their assigned job (for example, librarian, mail carrier, or mixologist) until you stop using them. Once you stop playing with that household and move to another, they will return to their workplace as usual.
I hope to release the update around mid-March.
More quality of life mods.
While working on the Spawn Control: Random NPCs and Services mod, I'm also creating additional mods on the fly (yes, I'm a multitasker). These mods limit behaviors or make occasional rebalancing adjustments.
Among the mods coming soon are:
No more reaction to completing a festive task.
No cooldown to change the relationship limits.
Rebalancing the "Secret Admirer Call" event.
Rebalancing of game spells.
Witch Teleport — modifies the impact and frequency of spells.
Boosted Bust — adjusts chest size from 0.5x to 5x of the original game size.
I'll talk more about each one soon, and I'm leaving a few more for later.
I hope to release them all throughout March.
Update for Dark, Pink, Purple Mode and the Medieval Interface on the "Dynasties and Lineages" DLC
A few days ago, I received the Dynasties and Lineages DLC as a gift. I've been playing around with it and taking notes on what works and what needs adjusting.
At the end of March, the Dark and Pink Mode versions will receive an update that will include not only the Dynasty Manager but also the entire group gesture system. I hadn't implemented it before because I don't usually use the group system; in fact, I ignored it and removed all the vanilla social groups from the game.
On the same day, Purple Mode will also receive an update to match its older siblings, Dark and Pink Mode. This update will include all changes made to date, except for the gallery, because I want to refine that aspect.
The medieval interface will receive an update sometime between now and next week as part of the DLC parity.
The voting is over.
At the beginning of the month I posted this, asking if they wanted me to keep updating all that, because in the end they want more variety (I'm tired, boss)
With 76%, I will continue to bring variety to these mods.
I'll be somewhat inactive regarding The Sims 4.
During the first week of March, I'll be focusing on updating and creating new language patches for various RimWorld mods. I'll be more active on Steam, where I'll post updates and be available if anyone needs me. I might be taking a break from Patreon for a while.
Clearing up the controversy surrounding the Omegaverse
Okay, I had a little scare: for a few hours, Patreon blocked my "Unrestricted Parental Breastfeeding" mod for The Sims 4, but it's been resolved now because I successfully appealed.
The reason? Someone reported it fraudulently, claiming that the mod "put minors at risk," which is completely false. I also received anonymous messages demanding that I remove it.
I want to clarify something important: All I recently did was improve compatibility with certain Omegaverse-themed mods by adding an exemption to recognize Sims with a specific trait used by those mods. That's all. It doesn't add any new content related to it; it only prevents conflicts and errors if someone uses them.
Does that mean I "support" the Omegaverse? Not necessarily. Personally, I'm indifferent: everyone plays how they want, as long as no one is harmed. I'm not the one to tell others how they should play, and my intention with this compatibility is purely technical.
Now, if you see any strange reports or misinformation about the mod, I would appreciate it if you didn't take it as true without context.
A new guide to understanding UI-related exceptions is coming soon.
I'll upload that so anyone who wants to understand what's happening in the game and why these exceptions occur—which aren't always due to the mod in question, but also to other mods, or even the game itself—it will be as complete as possible.
That's all from me. I'm still working on the next mod updates, and I hope to continue counting on your support in the future.

please stay safe ❤️
I’m incredibly interested in “No more reaction to completing a festive task”, because I tend to play up to a week of a given Sim’s life at a time. And having Seasons means that I can celebrate two holidays sometimes in one “session”. I can’t wait!
