Well, this is just a little reminder for everyone: 

YOU DON'T NEED TO SPEAK ENGLISH TO SPEAK WITH ME

I see many people apologize for their English when speaking to me, when they have a question, or when they make a comment. At the end of the day, it's something I don't mind, since I don't speak English either. My English is more technical, as I only know enough to read and interpret medical reports or articles.

So feel free to use your native language, as I like to see how it's written and compare it with Spanish, since that's my native language.

I also speak other languages:

• Aside from Spanish, I can speak, read, and write Brazilian Portuguese. This is thanks to my girlfriend, since she's from Brazil, and I learned her language so she could speak with me as comfortably as possible.

• I can understand and speak a little Huasteco (an indigenous language from the Husteca region of Mexico), thanks to my mother, since her entire family is from San Luis Potosí. I can only understand it because that dialect isn't spoken where I live, so I have no way to practice it.

• I can read and understand Japanese, and I can speak a little (enough to form simple sentences), thanks to the same thing I did with my girlfriend. I'm self-taught, so if I put in a little effort, I can learn complicated subjects without much effort.

  The reason I know Japanese is that before my daughter was born, during my teenage years, I had a few light novels, like Konosuba, Tensura, and The Apothecary Diaries, among others. I had both the Japanese and Spanish versions.

  The reason I learned Japanese is because I didn't like waiting more than a year for a translated novel to arrive in Mexico. So, I learned Japanese so I wouldn't have to wait. Besides, doing so helped me because I could play games or watch anime in their original languages, without having to wait for dubbing or subtitles.

  And if you ask, no, I don't call myself an otaku, since when I found out I was going to be a father I sold all my novels, my Nintendo Wii U, 3DS, etc.

So if you have any problems, feel free to speak in your native language, as I've seen other creators ignore or ban you if you open in a language other than English or the language they publish.
