Slight interruption in updates.

If you are in Mexico, you will understand that there have been nighttime blackouts, and here in the state of Veracruz we have had several consecutive days with temperatures above 40°C and a wind chill of 50°C.

I am simply a crab in this pressure cooker called Veracruz.

It makes no sense to live next to the river and be two kilometers from the sea if the air that blows is hot. Also, as a volunteer nurse in a small town, people look for me at the bakery when the elderly or children suffer from heat stroke.

So this is the situation: during the day I help people in these circumstances, and at night, either the power goes out or the house is so hot that not even the weather can cope. So much so that I had to put my daughters to sleep in the hammock outside the house, since the heat is unbearable.

I have not been able to work comfortably, and the little progress I have made is just scribbling. The good thing is that I managed to update the hardest part, all that was left was to update the icon packs. I hope this situation improves as the rainy season should start this week.

If you ask about my studies, I am a paramedic with a specialty in high mountains and rapid waters and a nurse who graduated from the Mexican Red Cross medical schools.

I no longer practice the profession because psychologically I don't feel well (I have failed the psychometric exam several times), but when I have the opportunity, I volunteer at town events providing first aid.

And one more thing, I am a man. What happens is that the translator (which I use to write in English) plays a joke on me and makes me sound like a woman.

As a fellow Hispanic and American I can tell you that the post doesn’t sound fémina and you’re doing awesome!
