R4 Sneak Peek: The Market!

Throbbing Thursday is upon us, which means it is high time for a first R4 sneak peek! Today will be about the new location R4 will bring - The Market. So, what you'll be able to do there?

To keep it simple, let's use a list!

What you'll be able to buy there?

1) Gear for our brave MC that will potentially alter the outcome of various scenarios. What that means? Well, for example, owning a laser cutter during future salvaging operations might give you more money. Owning a better suit might save your hide or allow you to get to places you otherwise couldn't. And much more.

2) Gifts for that one main lady of yours (or ladies!). This will later unlock additional scenes or change the regular ones with them.

3) Sex stimulants, toys, and slutty clothing, which will also unlock extra scenes or change the normal ones.

4) Services! Perhaps a hot minute or two with an alien working lady (ladies)? Or maybe paying for knowledge about weaponry, salvaging, and other skills?

What else?

1) Sell your (ill-begotten) gains! Whether it is something you salvaged from yet another derelict, or something you've "found" in an unlocked warehouse, someone will undoubtedly buy it!

2) Engage with store owners in various shenanigans! More about that below!

As the Market will be a rather big location (see the picture above, ultimately you will be able to visit all the shops there), I will be adding fully fleshed-out stores (that means their own interiors, images of goods, etc.) gradually. The first two you'll be able to visit in R4 are the Salvage Collector and PSX's only dedicated fashion store. Let's take a look at them. And it will be interesting because they couldn't be more different!

Salvage Collector

Klorm, the salvage collector, is somewhat of a figure, even amongst our anarchist space station's chaotic, diverse crowds. Infamous as being probably the greatest cheapskate of the PSX, grumpy beyond reason, and with seemingly the only hobby (eating), Klorm nonetheless owns the largest salvaging store on the station. He sells all one needs for a successful salvaging operation, from heavy-duty scavenger droids and tools to armored suits. He also buys more expensive salvage, thus enforcing his own monopoly. You will be able to get special gear, just like to sell all your future salvage there. Getting a reasonable price from the ill-tempered alien will be a whole other issue!

From the gameplay standpoint, Klorm's store will be vital for your later cash flow. Anything you loot or find, you will be able to turn into UCs there!

Anitta's Fashion

PSX has many businesses that offer some kind of clothing, though it is mostly utilitarian attire made for work, not looks. However, there is one exception. Anitta's Fashion is the only dedicated store for fashionable dresses on the station, a great source of pride for the shop's curvy owner.

The blonde both sells and makes her clothing, having a penchant for style. A successful businesswoman, Anitta is well-respected on PSX.

In her store, you will be able to get some extra clothing for both yourself and the ladies. But don't expect heavy work boots or gloves, though. No, no, Anitta sells lingerie, latex, garter belts, lace, panties, and everything in between. Be warned, though, her store also has a spicier, darker side. A boy interested in clothing like hers might pick the blonde owner's interest. After all, Anitta prides herself on finding fitting clothing for everyone!

In the game's terms, her store will provide you with an option to buy more feminine clothing for our MC, along with potential feminization scenes with Anitta. You will also be able to buy clothing for the main characters, both eventually enhancing all those spicy scenes with them!
