General Update + Progress Report #6!
Hello, friends! It's Throbbing Thursday, a perfect time for another Progress Report!
The work continues as planned. I have finished Pike's anal scene, which will be VERY spicy. More positions, a lot of man(futa?)handling of our brave MC, a bit of verbal feminization, thick creampie, all the good stuff.
I have also made some nice progress with the biggest part of the R3 - the first space adventure into the dangerous unknown of the ship graveyard! The scenes (yes, plural!) there will be a lot more latex-y, slippery, and shiny than previously planned, so if you are into these lovely things, you'll surely enjoy that one. Next up, finishing up Markala's scene, Lise's scene, and Mines Day 2!
Now onto the numbers!
Tessa Day 2:
Writing: 100%
Renders: 100%
Lise Day 2:

Spaceport Day 2:

Mines Day 2:

Spaceship Graveyard Mission 1:

R2 (known) bugs: 100%
R2 text corrections: 100%
Soundtrack & sounds: 50%
I have also started pondering about the release schedule. I am trying to find that sweet spot between delivering a good amount of content for you while also not keeping you dry for too long (and keeping the development comfortable for me). The current ~3 months/release model has been okay so far, but considering the absolutely massive scale of Release 3 (it is shaping up to be bigger than both previous releases combined!) I am thinking about options. What I had in mind were updates roughly of the same size as R2 (or slightly smaller), released every two months. Now, I am not 100% sure I can deliver on such a promise, and I already asked on our Discord, but I would like to know your opinion, so we'll do a poll about that soon!
That's it for today! As usual, please let me know in case of any questions, suggestions, or ideas!

Forgive my any presumption or patronizing on my part, but may I ask how you're going about your project plan? For example, you mentioned the desire to maintain a release schedule, and you've provided some progress metrics, but they don't necessarily indicate the size of those tasks in relation to one another. For example, how do you know that R3 is so much larger? How are estimating the amount of work in your releases? How are you estimating how much time you have to complete that work? I don't ask these to be a pedantic twit. However, if you're in a bit of a gray area on some of these, please feel free to message me. I'll offer what I can to help put together a project plan that works for you and can be modified to your desired release schedule and milestones. If you're already well able to create your own software dev project plans, then please accept my apologies for my presuming too much.
Good question! I have some professional experience with project management, so I am developing SP similarly. Each release is handled with the waterfall model, but since the individual parts are not always connected, I can afford to make these in more of an artistic manner as ideas flow. You are correct about the fact that there is no task size implication in my (very simplified!) progress metrics. However, I can measure them with 1) my internal project plan and 2) the output volume. For example, Day 1 for the main characters was roughly 50 renders each. Day 2 is, however, around 100 each. Hence, R3 is larger. That, combined with the scope of other parts (like the Space Graveyard section) and the amount of side content, gives me a clear image. That said, developing SP is still, at its core, closer to my daily profession (graphic design) rather than developing software. It is a creative work, and as such, it's inherently a fickle thing. This is why I usually give estimates first and only provide a specific date when I am truly sure it can be done. I am mostly pondering various release schedule models to simply find what suits both you and me the best. One way or another, very thankful for your offer! I'll let you know if the project will ever go more complex. In such a case, I would certainly appreciate some professional feedback!
And cos Jacky didn't say it, u da best
Haha, thank you! I do wonder what's up with Jacky. I hope he is okay.
If you can actually manage R2 every 2 months then I'd take that over the current schedule.
I will most certainly try that model.
its a tough situation to be in for sure. on one hand you got ur audience who always wants more content and the other, you got you, who has to make all the content, WITHOUT burning out heh. i think right now, the amount of communication you are doing is really helping with the patching cycle, keeping people interested as you work on the new content release as well as fighting against the "wait" that people are dealing with. Seeing as R3 is going to be the BIGGEST update so far, maybe give a few smaller updates a try and see if that works for you? even if its releasing 1 characters "Day 3", every couple weeks or at whatever pace lets you keep the quality your working at. i think its worth a try, just to see if you can manage a quicker, but smaller, patching window?
Exactly! I am considering doing a few smaller/faster ones after releasing R3. I will see how it works out and find the best model for everyone.
Love the game and looking forward to the next update. Only thing I want to ask is are you planning on doing any more character sheets?
Yes! I will release another two right after we hit 500 Patrons! Next up is Markala and Lise!
My body is ready for the next update. Keep up the good work!❤️
I have a question. Would you ever think about adding a walkthrough? Asking because I believe I saw before on F95 before I joined that there was a way to do a full bottom play through and I'd love to play through some of that stuff but the trial and error part is where I'd struggle lol
Once there is more content, I plan on doing some quick and easy walkthrough, yes!
Latex n slipper n shiny sounds like im in love 🎈
