Hi Everyone! ~ FUM v2.0r + Hooker Bug 2.04r
Hey, everyone! It's been awhile since I've posted on Patreon but I PROMISE I didn't abandon you all, on the contrary; I wish I could have uploaded more.
But enough grim, I hope you're all excited for Terran Command's new Gehenna DLC, I know I am, so that's why I've ensured a launch of Federal Unit Manager and Hooker Bug on that very day... Of Gehenna. So let's get into Patch Notes of the largest update to FUM thus far, as I'm very anxious to write about the new features of Federal Unit Manager.

Various Features temporarily disabled:

-Achievements
-Starship Troopers Decadence Unlockables
-Button/Dropdown tabs for rows (Use semi-colons manually for now)
These will ALL be worked on more and re-enabled
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are a few confusing things here so I'll explain them all below.
Firstly, a bunch of features have been temporarily disabled.
These are primarily due to time restraints but some of them are due to incompatibilities with the changes made in Federal Unit Manager labelled above. All of these features will eventually be re-worked into the application. (Sorry, "Button" Rows for Abilities. :( )
T.R.U. Compatibility
The bulk of this update is actually a complete rewrite of the core features of FUM. I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm completely dried out from how much work and effort went into this so this gives us "TRU Compatibility".
Terran Recursive Updates Compatibility. This feature changes how Federal Unit Manager handles the game's .csv files. Now Terran Command's Rows and collumns will populate based on the "shape" of the .csv file meaning FUM v2.0r is both forwards and backwards compatible with any version of Terran Command. No more waiting for updates since it'll just work regardless and you won't have any messed up formatting anymore. This same version can be used to open any version of Terran Command's .csv files regardless of game version.
Modpacks are Obsolete and no longer supported
You see that correctly. Modpacks can no longer be read by Federal Unit Manager. They have been replaced with far more sophisticted data files called "FonData" files. These stand for Foreign Data. FonData has your mods in them as well as much more intricate, intelligent data. FonData files are shared instead of Modpack files.
Inside of FonData files are an optional new data protocol called FragData. This stands for Fragment Data. FragData is the true beauty here. Fragdata allows you to send mods to your friends without losing compatibility with other mods affecting the same entity. Meaning you can install a mod that changes a Unit's weapons while installing a different mod that changes that same unit's health and speed without losing compatibility or choosing between one or the other. FragData inside of FonData is completely optional for the mod creator but, unless needed otherwise, it's recommended you always use FragData in your FonData. This makes sharing and creating Mods for Terran Command SO much easier!
You can have incompatible and compatible entities in a single Fondata if you so choose.
To add FragData in your FonData, go to "Package Mod" in Settings and Right-Click Entities and select the FragData you'd like to isolate.
Hooker Bug
I wish I had more to say for Hooker Bug other than I've fixed Rotation Camera and Tactical Pausing for the latest version of Terran Command. As usual, this Bug likes to play tricks on us so if any of you notice any... Bugs within Hooker Bug make sure you let me know so we can kill them all!
I hope you all enjoy Gehenna as well as Terran Command and kill as many bugs as possible. Until next time, troopers!
Thank you to all of my patient Patrons that stayed with me even after a lack of content for some time.

Thanks for FUM and HB, Nivium. Tactical Pause worked a few days ago when I first installed FUM v2.0r but has since stopped working. I see you wrote about a Tactical Pause bug a few months back and am wondering if the current version is the already-fixed version?
Hey, Alvin. The latest version of Hooker Bug should still be working on the latest version of Terran Command. If it isn't working for you, which sometimes happens, just Kill Hooker Bug (Press Kill Hooker Bug) and redeploy it. (You don't need to restart Terran Command or anything.) Always ensure Federal Unit Manager is being run as Administrator if you're using Hooker Bug. (Because Hooker Bug requires administrative permissions and Federal Unit Manager won't be able to detect whether Hooker Bug is deployed or not) OH I almost forgot, if you aren't on the latest version... GET THE LATEST VERSION! The latest version is v2.08r. It's written in red under the title on the Hooker Bug screen. If you aren't on that version, there'sa button on the top left corner of Hooker Bug to update. Click that and accept the update. It'll update and send you to the main menu of Federal Unity Manager. Just reclick Hooker Bug and you should be on the latest version. Always try updating Hooker Bug first if things break for you between game updates. If it still doesn't work for you I suggest you join my Discord server because this comments section is a bit cumbersome and disorganized so it makes it a bit difficult to help you out.
I can get the rotate to work but not the Pause
Hey! Thanks for responding. (I know I'm a few days late. Was extremely busy!) Latest update broke Tactical Pause. Boo! :( New update for Hooker Bug will be coming through within the week. :)
Glad to see that you're still working on FUM and the Hooker Bug. I'm looking forward to testing it out. Keep up the great work! – Anderson ABN
