Introducing iiMii Maker!

iiMii Maker (Interactive-Internet Mii) is a project I've been working on solely for about 2 years now while juggling my personal life. It's an ambitious PC/Mobile remake to Nintendo's official Mii Maker! The idea is to remove many of the superficial restrictions of Mii Maker, fix some of it's issues and add more features.

Many, MANY features!

One of iiMii Maker's most prominent feature is the advanced control over your iiMii's colors! For example, you can change the color of eye sclera as well as pupils, separate makeup colors, mole colors, glasses' lense and rims and even the outline on your nose! Some of these allow you even to change their transparency, too. Now you really can have a Faceless Mii without needing to hide the details in the hair like the olden days. The colors are extremely wide-ranged, allow practically any color on the spectrum without limitations to realistic skin colors, for example.

More features include new hair options, multiple moles, new freckle types, imported eyes and mouths from games like Tomodachi Life and other things I'm missing. Check out the video I posted for more features!

One feature that's pretty important is the separation from "Shirt" and "Archetype". You can choose your shirt regardless of your Archetype while the Archetype serves as the equivalent of a Mii's "Gender". This was an internal design, as I'm planning on making personal remakes to Nintendo games and other video games which will utilize iiMiis created in this application for appropriately randomly-generating iiMiis with their correct clothing and Archetype separately. Generally, the Archetype won't serve a purpose outside of being referenced by other video games. (Whether these video games are released to the public is not concrete) For completion sake you can set the Archetype but it won't make a visible difference in iiMii Maker itself

P.S.: Date of Birth isn't there because I didn't think it was worth me developing, especially not right now if ever. Sharing option for Miis is obviously redundant for iiMii Maker so that also isn't present.

Interactive Internet

One of the core intentions to iiMiis is it's ability to be shared among your friends either online or else. Inside of a folder named 'iimii' hosts all of your iiMiis in their own .iimii file format. It's as simple as giving the iiMii file to your buddy to put in their iiMii folder.
There's also theoretically no limit on how many iiMiis you can make!

COPYRIGHT-FREE!

iiMii Maker is designed without intending to infringe Nintendo's copyright on Miis. It's a free application which DOES NOT PRESENT COPYRIGHT ASSETS without modding iiMii Maker yourself using a special file to load into iiMii Maker. This file will be hosted on Patreon as long as it's download link isn't removed otherwise you can also find it on Gamebanana as to not cause any copyright infringement on my Patreon.
This means iiMii Maker will have many updates in the future adding new features and bugfixes without any legal issues with Nintendo as it doesn't have their property within the application itself.

How to use

Requirements:
iiMii Maker is designed for Windows and Android. (Go to the Android release post here) iPhone/iPad likely won't be possible due to their limitations but I'll always try!

Setup:

• Download iiMii Maker.zip down below. This is v1.0r which you can tell from the menu on the bottom right corner and extract it to your choosing.

• If you try opening iiMii Maker, it'll tell you that it doesn't have any assets for iiMii creation. You must download "modelcustomization" which you will find in this post or on Gamebanana. (https://gamebanana.com/mods/610962)
  Place that file in "iiMii Maker_Data/ModelData" and you're done! iiMii Maker will now have all of the Mii assets!

Sharing:
As of now, iiMii's are saved by their internal ID. This ID is unique. I chose the "ID" route as to allow the user to have many iiMiis of the same name without weird things happening. There's no way to tell the ID from iiMii Maker and this will be fixed in the future but for now, each iiMii is saved to "iiMii Maker_Data/iimii" (Or "Android/Data/com.Nivium.iiMiiMaker/files/iimii" for Android) as their ID followed by .iimii. Just send the file to your buddies and have them place it in that folder. It'll be more convenient in the future, promise!

Missing Features/Updates

There are a very select few missing features which require a bit more extensive development. Some I sort of didn't prioritize and others were more dedicated tasks to add. Here's a list of a few of those:

• Hats are missing (ALL hairs will be compatible)

• Separate eye color

• iiMii layout organization

• Favoriting iiMiis

• Photo creator/iiMii poser

• Lighting/sky/background color control

• Pants color changing

• Special Mii(?)

• Wara Wara Plaza with iiMii AI
