schedule 1/19 - 1/25 + looking for movie recommendations!

Forrest Gump

The new Sonic the hedgehog movies are actually super good. The newest movie in the trilogy just came out to rent!

Shaun of the dead!!!!

I'll throw a few women-centered "based on a true story but has taken liberties" into the mix: Iron Jawed Angels (2004) A League of Their Own (1994) Erin Brockovich (2000)

Throwing some extra suggestions into the ring: Arrival - A beautiful, heartwrenching sci-fi movie about a linguist tasked with deciphering a visiting alien race's language. Knives Out - A murder mystery with a twist, Chris Evans playing a jerk, and an absolutely mesmerising accent from Daniel Craig. The Substance - A middle-aged Hollywood actress tries an experimental new procedure to become younger again. Completely unmonetisable, however. It's a Wonderful Life - Just a classic all-around! Billy Elliott - A child in the North of England finds his true calling: Ballet. Godzilla Minus One - A kamikaze pilot grappling with survivor's guilt encounters Godzilla in the aftermath of World War II. The Mission Impossible movies are also an easy recommendation but understandable if you don't want to get into another big franchise atm!

How do you feel about horror? Other than horror though, Perks of being a Wallflower is a heartbreaking coming of age, amazing movie. And the cornett trilogy is a great comedy franchise, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and World's End

please watch either the sarah jane adventures {you WILL see more david tennant} or the kingsman movies?

The Terminal: 2004 movie starring Tom Hanks. Chill wholesome movie, gives romcom vibes without actually being one.

Little Miss Sunshine There's something about Mary Planet of the Apes

- City of the lost Children (1995) its a french steampunk fantasy movie with ron perlman and maybe one of the strangest movies i have ever seen ^^ i also think there are 0 reactions to it on youtube xD - From Paris with Love (2010) an action movie with John Travola xD - True Romance (1993) a tony scott movie written by Quentin Tarantino - The Boondock Saints (1999) an action movie with Willem Dafoe --- as you can see this are mostly movies for like 10-50 million so smaller budget ones, i feel they just have a nicer charm, sadly some have only a few and some no reactions because people only reac to the blockbusters xD

No superheroes, no space movies, do you like Westerns? Do you like Clint Eastwood? My favorite unofficial trilogy: The Outlaw Josey Wales Pale Rider Unforgiven If no westerns, then I will second Mad Max Fury Road, it’s a thrill ride start to finish. Or how bout a classic dragon movie, Dragonslayer (1981), love that movie.

Aside from more hunger games which I'm looking forward to, would love yo see your reaction to: - Jo Jo Rabbit And - The Cornetto Trilogy

the mask of zorro!! the addams family (1991)

I recommend the two Peter Cushing Dalek movies, "Dr Who & The Daleks" and "Daleks': Invasion Earth 2150 A.D."

If you want to watch a horror movie you gotta see the The Descent

Idiocracy,HotFuzz, Zoolander,Tropic Thunder

Not exactly a movie but as good as: Casanova, the BBC version starring David Tennant and written by the man who revived Doctor Who. It aired as three episodes but was released on dvd/bluray as a single feature length. Absolutely engrossing, hysterical, heartbreaking, just perfect.

Jojo Rabbit Kill bill Fargo Being John Malkovitch Inglorious Basterds

I think a movie you would really love is Mr. Holland's Opus. It's not Sci fi or anything, just a really awesome movie. Also if I could sneak in an animated series request, I think you'd really love season 1 of the original The Tick animated series from 1994. It's a real gem. Hope you have a great week! ✌️

- Memories of Murder (2003) - It's from the director of Parasite and might be his best movie - Social Network (2010) and/or Zodiac (2007) - Maybe 2 of the best films of that decade from David Fincher - Heathers (1988) - Subversive teen black comedy that made a Winona Ryder a star and was incredibly influential - Ex Machina (2014) - Sci-Fi Thriller, one of the best from that period

I would like to suggest The boondock saints and for anime Black lagoon, it's a series. Also if you want to see proper old school anime movies, you have to see the original Ghost in the Shell movie as well as Akira and the original spriggan. There's some of the earliest animes I've seen and if you like them I've got more suggestions.

Clerks

Night at the Museum

The Day After Tomorrow

Tropic Thunder is great (watch the unrated version though)

I'd recommend Trainspotting. Shout out for the Scottish

Well for my recommendations I think it’s time to resume with Karate Kid. Also have you seen the Rush Hour trilogy? I might also nominate Enola Holmes 1 and 2, Transformers One, and the live-action Sonic films. The third one is in theaters at the moment.

Just a few personal favorites (of no coherent theme): Mad Max Fury Road (2014) - Action, Post-apocalyptic desert with insane cars and stunts Ocean's Eleven (2001) - Comedy/Drama, Stylish casino heist Bottoms (2022) - Comedy, Two lesbians start a fight club at their high school Crazy Rich Asians (2018) - Romantic Comedy, Woman finds out her boyfriend's family is extremely rich and all the drama that ensues from that world Knives Out (2019) - Comedy/drama, A murder mystery with impeccable autumn vibes

Adam Sandler Movies Big daddy Happy Gilmore Billy madison Grown ups The waterboy Anger management Click The wedding singer 50 first dates

I'm not really a movies guy, but I have some recommendations that you might like. Thought-provoking: Everything is Illuminated Mr. Nobody I Origins Science of Sleep Peak horror: 1408 Mirrors Classics: The Devil's Advocate Airplane The Warriors The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Thanks for sharing your letterbox! Super helpful! I like a lot of the suggestions being shared, and I'll add the following: Rocky (at least up to #4) Jackie Chan: Shanghai Noon or Rush Hour series How to train your Dragon 2 & 3 Jim Carrey: Ace Ventura 1& 2, Liar Liar

Jumanji classic Mrs doubt fire

Cloud atlas! Seems loads of people have forgotten this movie exists but it's incredible

Not necessarily for the immediate future, but more specifically when you are near to the end of DWS7. An Adventure in Space and Time (2013 version) (Docu-Drama film.) It is totally safe to watch as from now, but was made to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the show, which was at the end of series 7.

If you enjoyed Her and want another film on that theme Ex-Machina is a good movie If you like Robin Williams in Dead Poet Society then Good Will Hunting is a great movie & is a staple of the reaction genre and would be good for interactions L.A. Confidential is a great movie with a great cast and would definitely be something different for your channel You mentioned Titanic which was a controversial best picture Oscar: Good Will Hunting & L.A Confidential both lost out to Titanic with many arguing that either should have won, you could watch them & come to your own conclusion about a controversial oscars moment

Hi Emme! I love that you want to get more into Classic and Classy movies. I’d like to recommend: - Scent of a Woman: Award winning drama, with first rate performances - Some Kind of Wonderful: Stylish ‘80s high school drama from John Hughes (Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller, etc).

If you haven’t already seen it, i highly recommend scream (the first one from 1996, not the one that goes by the same name but is actually the fifth one from 2022)

If you liked titanic you’d like Poseidon also a boat. And 2012 an end of the world type film

Marley and me

The boy in the striped pjs

I expect you also mean taking a break of all other Disney owned sub brands and content, so I will not recommend any of that. Btw, I see Deadpool and Wolverine in you watchlist but this (now) is also under Marvel MCU umbrella. Personally I would like to recommend Ex Machina and Good Will Hunting. Scarface and the Godfather movies are also great but a bit older and can be pretty heavy.
