Yes yes yes, trust me it's a bit of a slog and dated especially season 1 but in the end it's sooo worth it. You'll probably hate msor characters but youll love them when you least expect it! Season 3 of Torchwood especially is some of the best writing Doctor Who has had! You don't need to watch it to watch doctor who but trust me, it only enhanced the experience and you'll be thanking yourself for sticking through it eventually.

I'd love to see a torchwood reaction. I loved and there isn't many people reacting to it

Torchwoods cool, it does help put times and stuff into perspective as it runs along side DW.

I don't know / haven't seen Torchwood, only Dr. Who for me so up to you if you want to add another show i.m.o Dr. Who is more than enough content on it's own.

Torchwood is really good. It's not for everyone, but it is good. More adult though.

I honestly didn't know there was so much love for Torchwood- that doesn't match reddit which is where I go to talk about DW. From the poll I guess I'm in the minority in thinking it's not comparable to DW. C'est la vie. I'll be honest that I found myself a bit frustrated/distressed on how the writers handled (and then defended) a certain topic from the jump which is why I had to bow out and can't return. People have told you it's a lot darker so I'm glad you at least have the trigger warning. And I've heard there are some bangers down the line that I never got to, so my opinion is limited to the first few episodes.

Honestly? It's okay to watch Torchwood but it's not really NECESSARY for Doctor Who. I'd actually suggest you watch it but you don't need to react to it. Personally, I can't wait to see what you think of season 3 of Doctor Who!! :)

Finish S1 of Torchwood by S3 E10 of Doctor Who. So you've got time lol. Definitely worth watching. It's an enjoyable show, and I think it's best to watch it while still watching Doctor Who. Perfect combo.
