Lighted LED MX Keycup Clickers
Hello everyone! I created it for one of my future project and you'll see why very soon:)
FILES: MakerWorld
Tutorial: YouTube
Turn a simple keyboard switch into a fun glowing clicker!
This project combines the satisfying click of an MX switch with a built-in LED, creating a tiny fidget that's perfect for your desk, keychain, or collection.
The design is quick and easy to print, requires no supports, and can be assembled in just a few minutes.
Materials needed:
🔋 Battery: CR1220 (other battery sizes will not fit this design)
💡 LED: 3mm or 1.8mm LED diode (5mm LEDs will not fit)
⌨️ Switch: MX keyboard switch (Kailh White or any compatible MX-style switch)

Hello! Its a MakerWorld design. Check out this link https://makerworld.com/uk/models/2986739-lighted-led-mx-keycup-clickers
Its not working for me, I dont know if the straight metal piece is touching and the battery isn't sitting in it fully it keeps coming up. Please help!
Hello! I can't help online. Just make sure everything matches the tutorial and that the LED and battery contacts are positioned correctly.
The battery keeps popping out and will not stay in. Any suggestions?
I absolutely love this! Will your clickers all be able to use this led add on? I did try it another clicker and the base was not deep enough. Maybe I can just make it deeper?
Hello! Thanks! Only new clickers with deep base. Also bottom of the hole has a little shape so that the battery makes better contact
Where do you get the diode at ?
in local electronic shop
Hello, I messaged you yesterday over on MMF because I cannot message you here. Would you mind checking it pretty please?
Hello. Yes
Nice, but I am unable to see the video due to music restrictions in the USA
Thanks! I’d remake it to horizontal video with no music today evening
