Flexi biting T-Rex remodel
I want to create a dinosaur collection! As a first step, I’ve edited the T-Rex.
Spring update! I've used the same spring mechanism as the biting shark, but with updated top and bottom jaws. Just snap the parts together – no glue, no pain!

IT WORKS
Thanks!
Request: The head currently rotates 360°. Would it be possible to limit this to 180° by adding a rim or stop? The pin of the lower jar that connects to the body — could it be adapted to click into the lower jar instead of being glued? This would make assembly much easier. And could you make a similar dino? I would love to see a Velociraptor and a Triceratops added to this collection. Sadly, I’m not at all good in Blender or in creating or adapting models like this. I’m really glad there are people like you who can. Anyhow, amazing toy — my daughter loves it. Thank you!
Hello! I couldn’t find a place to add a snap mechanis. However, the rotating head adds extra playability to the toy. I've already started expanding my collection of dinosaurs and biters. I have a flexi Triceratops and a biting shark!
I tried that piece and it’s not a good fix as the “bite” is not strong enough.
Hello! Updated!
I have previously printed your Biting T-Rex and still have not been able to assemble the biting jaw as the metal pin and spring doesn't easily line up with the holes. I printed a vice in an attempt to secure head while trying to insert the pin and still was not successful. Any advise? I really like the design!
Hello! Someone created 3d printed spring https://makerworld.com/models/606905 It works worse because it can't withstand a large load, but it's easier to charge.
You saved me from the pain xD! I previously printed 10 pieces and they all fell on the front
