Important Security Patch: VaM 1.22.0.13 Released
This is a followup to the post from the other day about the Unity security vulnerability. https://www.patreon.com/posts/unity-security-140363800
This 1.22.0.13 release removes the need for users to manually patch VaM as previously described in the above post.
In addition to the Unity patch, we have made 1 additional security fix to restrict plugins from using an unsafe method. This is a proactive fix and is not in response to any active threats, but we still advise everyone to update to 1.22.0.13 immediately.
How to get the patch:
Simply run VaM_Updater.exe in your VaM install folder and click the button at the bottom right to update to 1.22.0.13.

Oh, and while I have (someone's) attention...is there any information about that error window? I can interpret most of the messages I see there, but is there any way to avoid that message (got a BIG VaM sandbox)? I'm referring to the VaM error panel, not the Updater.
Question: Does this affect VaM2? Or does it use a different Unity version?

If you updated from 1.22.0.12 to 1.22.0.13 there are actually no code changes so I don't think that is related. The Duplicate package uid error occurs if you have multiple copies of the same var file in the AddonPackages folder and any subfolders of that folder. Check to see if you have subfolders with copies. The missing addon package occurs when a dependency is missing. You can try to track down the missing var file or remove the one that has the dependency to remove those errors.
