April Progress Update

Greetings, Perverts!

With Day 15 now in everybody's hands, it seemed like a good time for a progress update.

Day 16 has already been written and gone through a couple revisions. I'm happy with where it is and I've been slowly starting to work on posing. Day-job has been keeping me very busy lately so I figured starting a little earlier than I usually do and working a little at a time will equal a similar release window for 16.

I'm also comfortable in saying that the main story outline is complete. "But, GG," I hear you say, "what does that mean?" When I talk about the "main story" being complete I'm referring to getting some kind of closure with everything that started off with our Kittens. I have what, at least at the moment, is a satisfying end to everything that has happened with them.

What then? After Day 19 concludes the main story, there will be one update (Update 20) to put a satisfying "Finale" to everything. What exactly that is , I'm not sure about, but I have ideas written down.

After Update 20, before I call FiT a complete version 1.0, a couple more things will happen. How they happen and in what order has yet to be determined, but here they are:

A polish pass. Any renders that aren't right, animations that need fixing, plot holes or incorrect decision outcomes that have been created, will be fixed.

Alternate Story branches. I'm going to go back and revisit story branches that were pruned for the sake of getting regular updates out. Don't want to get the girls pregnant? Don't want to get involved with the "old ladies?" ETC. Those will be properly fleshed out all the way to the end.

End Game. While the gallery is nice, some people may want a different kind of re-playability. Ideally I want the game to transition to a more "open-world" interactive at the end. Mainly as practice for a future project, I'd like to give the player the freedom to go around the world of FiT and "visit" past LIs and maybe even find some new ones. This also opens up the possibility for small future content patches, if that is something I think is worth exploring.

Over-all I'm enthusiastic about where FiT is at and where it is going to. I hope you all feel the same!
