⚠️ Important

• ModEngine2 (ME2) is recommended.

• The mod folder must be inside ELDEN RING\Game\.

• Do not rename the mod folder.

• If you use ME3, make sure all DLLs configured in config_eldenring.toml are loaded correctly.

1. Before Installing a New Version

If you have an older version installed, DO NOT install the new version directly over it.

First, delete:

• The entire old mod folder

• All old ModEngine2 files

• The old config_eldenring.toml

Then install the new integration package.

⚠️ You must use the new config_eldenring.toml included with the package, as it contains the DLL loading configuration required by the current version.

2. Install the Mod

Open the downloaded archive and find the directory that contains the mod folder. Extract everything from that directory into:

ELDEN RING\Game\

⚠️ Do not extract the archive's outer parent folder into Game.

Correct:

Game\mod\

Wrong:

Game\Archive Folder\mod\

After installation, run launchmod_eldenring.bat to start the game.

3. How to Play as a Boss

1. Go to Merchant Kalé.

2. Get the Crafting Kit.

3. Open Item Crafting.

4. Craft the boss you want to use.

5. Open Equipment and equip the corresponding boss item as a weapon.

Every boss has both a +0 and +10 version.

4. Missing Sound Effects / Some Character Animations Fail to Load (Current Animation Keeps Looping)

⚠️ Important: Check That the DLL Files Are Not Blocked by Windows

If you have correctly completed all the installation steps above but still experience any of the following issues:

• Character sound effects or voices are missing

• Some character animations fail to load

• The character keeps repeating/looping the current animation

Please check whether the following DLL files are blocked by Windows.

For each DLL file:

1. Right-click the DLL file.

2. Select Properties.

3. If you see an Unblock option at the bottom of the window, check it.

4. Click Apply, then OK.

Please check these three DLL files:

Game\mod\Dll\ERSoundBankLoader\er_sound_bank_loader.dll Game\mod\Dll\hotreload\weapon_animation_hotreload.dll Game\mod\Dll\Summon\summon.dll

Windows may automatically block DLL files downloaded from the internet, which can prevent some of the mod's systems from loading correctly.

5. Save Issues

If you experience save problems:

1. Start Elden Ring normally through Steam without the mod.

2. Enter the game, then close it.

3. Reinstall the mod.

4. Start the game using launchmod_eldenring.bat.

6. Game Crashes

If the game crashes, first:

Turn OFF Ray Tracing!

Cracked Game Crashes on Launch

This is usually because your game version is not 1.16.2.

Seamless Coop Animation Sync Hotfix

Fixed an animation synchronization issue with Seamless Coop.

Previously, when using some newly added boss moves, other players could only see the character moving without the corresponding attack animations.

This hotfix fixes the issue and allows these animations to display correctly for other players in Seamless Coop.

Google Drive Download Quota Exceeded

1. Create an empty folder in your Google Drive, for example ER-Playable Mods.

2. Open the main mod download link and add a shortcut of the mod file to that folder.

3. Return to your Google Drive.

4. Download the entire folder instead of the individual file.
